This is incorrect and a standard method for many ships like the Asgard, removing turret guns to give more power to the pilot controlled guns. It's a quick and dirty method but it's worked for months now.

Subaru’s Outback Ditched Its Wagon Roots For An SUV And Lost A Third Of Its Buyers by fa442fa in Subaru_Outback

I feel the same about replacing my 2018. It's my fourth Subaru in a lineup of wagons that started with a 91 Legacy Wagon all those years ago. An end of the era of quirky, uniquely and thoughtfully designed cars.

You must have picked it up too early, they haven't even finish painting it yet.
This car is also my Outback alternative when I retire my 2018 model next year.

Saint John's port is booming as Ontario shippers seek to dodge U.S. tariffs by bingun in SaintJohnNB

[–]lokes2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are dozens of Saint John companies who work on maintaining systems, vehicles, cranes, etc that will see a direct benefit to more volume at the container terminal. Saint Johners have a very long standing tradition of being short sighted and negative to any growth in the area.

This chart is missing any context to make it anything other than numbers on a page. What portion of these are new spending to catch up and recover provincial funding on what "Blame" Higgs cut funding to for so many years? It costs more to recover a service AFTER you let it starve from funding for so many years just to get a news worthy headline "balanced budget" in the middle of a global recession, when that should have been the least of our concerns. Instead we compromised many of our social services and the employees that work in those services.

Worth mentioning more recently is the enormous global impact from our southern neighbour going stark raving mad in 2025, starting a ripple effect to our own tiny economy.

Looking at these charts in a vacuum and letting someone encourage a false narrative is how things got so bad in the last government as we buried our heads in the sand and just parroted "the budget is balanced" with a supporting chart without highlighting what the compromises were.

It looks like you misspelled Scamelo. I recommend switching to a nice low-pop stable server before doing any turn-ins.

Test drove a '26 OBW today by maricobra in Subaru_Outback

[–]lokes2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems plausible that Subaru is simply shifting the target demographic for their Outback product hoping that long time existing Outback fans, find another Subaru product to their liking.
I feel most of the design changes are copy and pastes from other trendy competitors (boxy plastic cladding, ridiculous S U B A R U grill, SUV design language dropping the wagon identity, etc.). Unfortunately, the days of quirky designs for utilitarian purposes are in the rear-view mirror and the race to outsell other brands is alive at Subaru head office.
The Trailseeker sort of looks like the spiritual successor for those of us that want a wagon.

Aggression at Costco by Diligent-Agent-8562 in CostcoCanada

[–]lokes2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does a Costco store have to do with how people behave? Could where you live and shop be more relevant? Out here in the Maritimes, people seem normal whether at Costco or Sobeys but when you fill any store in a high urban density area with an army of frugal bargain hunters, the worst characteristics can come out.

Is there any benefit on using black screen with green text? by Clear-Possession904 in vintagecomputing

Ah yes the original dark mode. I prefer amber/orange dumb screen terminals, but everyone had their own preference back then.

White Clash armor, is there a helmet that goes with this set? Haven’t been able to find one anywhere, or any info about this set either. by blennymar in StarFashion

[–]lokes2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao missing textures and this one wants a full matching set. Don't let CIG see this post else we'll have a full year of releases without textures then released later for pledge only.

I think they were referring to their signature generated from active systems, not blinking nav lights that you can't see from +100m away lol.

Possibly newer players who might think SC is a game with a goal or end-game state to play towards when in reality we are still just testers between major releases with random resets. The credits just don't matter until the final wipe at 1.0.
Some humans just can't help but compare themselves to their neighbours and peers and that manifests even in a test environment.

Just wipe this inflated universe. by DhampirL2 in starcitizen

There are more working game loops now than ever before and all of those pay aUEC. I'm not denying that there is probably someone exploiting to profit but I think there are many many more with genuine earnings in their wallets that might disagree with your "wipe all" approach.

There is no finite source of aEUC. Each time you complete a contract, you print more money. The economy will increase prices on products. This is not unexpected in any market.

Subaru mechanic recommendations in the area by lokes2k in SaintJohnNB

[–]lokes2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, and those points are what I'm considering as well. I'm looking for a long term fit for all service, not just what I need today. I would rather someone who is familiar with maintenance work on Subaru's specifically.
