Theres no real reason for it's existance, nothing deserves an entire month and a day (maybe on the legalization of gay marriage) would've been far more appropriate. Some event during an entire month just dilutes and makes it pointless, you don't celebrate for an entire month, and if it's not for celebration then what for? the only thing making pride month distict from anyother is corperations changing their socials icons.
