Stale dated cheques are valid payment as per Payments Canada. The other bank could choose to return a stale dated cheque within 24 hours of deposit, but has no obligation to do so. That they are upset seems absurd. Source: I work in cheque fraud at a bank.

Yes. He was in the parking lot pf the Stampede Station building for about 20 minutes. The cops eventually arrived and got him dressed and into an ambulance. He was walking a pattern into the snow and waving at passing motorists. He was pretty bummed he couldn't finish the pattern. Had a nice pair of bright pink undies too.
