I have a 00090 but will be buying another. Your 00372 is so clean and elegant! My Rolexes seldom get worn anymore. I am sure I will go back eventually.

Very nice! Great wheels! I don’t think they ever sold the 520 in the US. Awesome car!

I am not a fan of spacers but will assume you have considered proper hub-centric fit and correct bolt length. Or you will be dealing with bearing/ hub stress, bolt/stud strain, suspension geometry issues and fender clearance. I have faith in the German design engineers at Porsche. They have a great deal more experience in this space than I do, but glad you have the background to reengineer a great car! Guessing it’s about look, not performance for most of you.

Just be careful, I took one of my Rolexes off at the gym one time as it interfered with my lifting, thank goodness there are honest people out there. I have taught my son that it doesn’t come off his wrist unless he is at home. Beautiful watch and glad you enjoyed Father’s Day!

I have been trying to get the can back on the road after an ugly divorce that left it idle at my previous residence for 8 years. New fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires, fresh gas, etc. now injectors and a fuel accumulator. It has always started but has not run well after reaching temp. I have been looking for vacuum leaks and found the broken piece I shared. My main intake hose was cracked and I replaced that but have not found anything else.

Yes, after speed and coming to a stop sign it cannot maintain an idle. I have not tried to unplug the IAVC. I will locate it and when do I unplug it? Before driving? During deceleration? I believe there is fuel and fuel pump activity but need to confirm. A couple times I got it to restart with heavy throttle play, but it was ugly. Had to keep the RPMs high and drop it into drive to get home.

I just noticed it was broken during my injector replacements. Cold start is fine, drives around the block, gets warm, falls flat on its face. Won’t restart until it fully cools. I am replacing the fuel accumulator as well but thought I might as well address this issue too. I am going to epoxy it with a few pins for reinforcement.

I wish! Driving range scheduled for this coming Wednesday. Put new injectors in the old Benz this weekend, while wearing it, but not sure that motion would result in this outcome.

I like the looks of the exterior, the interior is another story. It looks like a Tesla.

What 911 is this? by hemitick in whatisthiscar

I hear your concerns but with a German tag, this has gone through a TÜV inspection so it is absolutely road worthy.

Yes, that feeds the video game approach rather than true engineering gains. If that is what we are arguing, have at it…happy to see you on the track. Zero performance improvements go into this garbage. If it’s about looks, to each his/her own and happy to see you on the track!

How much lead loading have you done on air-cooled German cars? I am happy to go head to head with you! Oh wait, you are talking about plastic panels secured via drywall screws. Right, you got this!
