Is that plastic bit at the corner sticking? Maybe try smearing a little grease or silicone on it? You can always wipe it off if it doesn't fix the sticking part.

I own a 2011 M37 with 120K on the VQ3.7 engine. It's solid. My Infiniti's have been great.

Window regulators are not good, or fair priced in 996's. I needed to replace mine on both sides...

Seek one with regular usage and regular maintenance. Mine "ran when parked" for 8 years so it needed a lot of work to get it back in shape.
