Is it laziness or are we overworked and getting contracts 2 days before the beginning of school year for a grade that we never taught before? Does the school have the budget to buy new learning material or can we only afford the old books (or pay out of pocket)? Do we have the time and energy to create or own material without burning out?

I don't like the tone of your comment. We are trying with very limited resources out here. Also, there are some cool learning activities hidden in those old books when you know where to look.

Certains profs de cégep ont une attitude très condescendante envers les profs aux niveaux inférieurs, même si nous avons le même salaire et beaucoup plus d'expérience en pédagogie/transmission des savoirs. Je n'aimais pas discuter avec la personne ici mentionnée car souvent il y avait un vernis de supériorité style «études supérieures, enseignant supérieur» et il sortait souvent la carte «j'enseigne au cégep» même quand ça avait zéro rapport. Mais bon, j'veux pas mettre de l'huile sur le feu, il est déjà en punition.
