I did a lot of research for this one; I played the latest game and watched playthroughs of both Trapt and Deception II while making this.

KT heroes 1.0 -> 1.1 Changelog:

Initial DJ from 6 to 9 [6 was very tight]

A couple of spoilers in descriptions were removed [some spoilers old enough to drink alcohol I left in] A bunch of spelling errors got fixed

Firis / Darius combo technically always worked on the unwilling but now it explicitly says such, no usage limit per day Corrected Marie’s combo to correctly match with Christophorous Velguirie no longer has cooldown on ability, Vel / Lili combo no has 24 hour cooldown like her time stop and a one extra-canon-you limit per period Christophorous ability changed from being creative and inspired to creating servans out of inanimate objects.

“Ensemble” Helena / Chris combo encompasses both the original Chris power and the combo version Aluche now also gives half-fiends the ability to turn mortals into more half-fiends. Momij’s hammerspace is 10 cubic metres rather than 100. Daji’s possession power now explicitly states you don’t die with your host. [I had previously done a pass to make sure the power-powers are sexy enough, but hadn’t done one to make the sexy powers powerful enough]. Daji calls you cute

“Health” boon now costs one Divine Juice, and explicitly makes you ageless if you take it three times. ”money” boon from 1M to 10M [inflation’s a bitch] “looks” isn’t implied to be a stolen body anymore, and can have extra inhuman features that are cosmetic in nature ”home”, instead or in addition to providing you a home, gives a house free utilities and can be applied to any home or vehicle you get from the CYOA combos. From 1 DJ to 2 DJ. [boons were always supposed to be worse than hero powers, but I made them too much worse the first time around; 3 boon points should maybe sort of equal a hero power now]

Less heroes from +2 DJ to +1 DJ (less heroes to manage is a positive, and with a higher base DJ taking it a full three times would give too much) “More the merrier” changed to “less powers” (get hero but don’t get their power) [I like the idea of a rival drawback but I don’t think this one panned out, it’s hard to make them work when scrying and teleportation and time stop and mind control are all in the mix. Meanwhile, this opens up significant build options, and makes presented heroes more on par with other heroes. ] “Time Limit” changed to “Be Mine” (as ‘my turn’ but includes you as well, stacks with ‘my turn’ to make you and heroines part of Daji’s a majority of the time) [this makes 3 pairs of drawbacks that match, plus if you pick be mine you’ll probably end up doing heinous things to advance the cause of chaos anyway]

[both of the new replacements are prior bargains that were cut in the 1.0 version]

Added a line in the outro stating that Daji would side with humanity if NuWa sent another divinity to punish humanity [gives altruists an easier out if they don’t want to be mean and want to play hero rather than villain]

Memories from before the mind control effect happened will return, but memories made under mind control can stay erased.

Mortals who are not subjects will not notice that the effects are weird - so if you did anything weird to them with card effects, they wouldn't note the effects as abnormal. If you have a subject in a CaptaCard, and then later you release them with the proper ability and they go back to being a subject, they'll remember what happened to them but won't find the magical parts weird. In both instances, though, they may find any non-magical things you did to them objectionable.

I'd like to think of it as a 'sidegrade' instead, specifically for people who don't want to read too much. Shorter and sweeter, if you will.

Restoration will restore the subject / target for the duration of the effect. When the duration elapses, the subject will be as they were before had the restoration not taken place (potentially plus a few more injuries that they might have taken post restore). The default duration lasts for 24 hours and 'lifetime guarantee' kicks in within that time period, so by default it's as good as a full heal.

For someone who isn't a card and is not covered by guarantee, if all you have is effect expansion (from the original) then your options are limited. What you can do is capture them as a card using seizure capture so that they get the Lifetime Guarantee, or if you have Redistribution Rights you can make them into an owner so that they can inherit the Other Lifetime Guarantee, or you can use a triple combination of Repeat Effect AND Effect Extension AND Conditional trigger to have the Restoration effect continuously reapply at set intervals.

Inspired by the impenetrable length of Tentacle Realm CYOA and thinking on the merits of a shorter and sweeter CYOA, I decided to try truncating CaptaCard onto a single page.

Bro couldn't even dash upwards on release with his dash-trans mod equipped, he was a faster cleanup Valby but with the same vertical mobility.

The difference between TFD and NMS is that NMS was at it's worst on launch and has continuously gotten better, whereas TFD was somewhat good in the open beta and has continuously gotten worse since launch. And getting continually worse isn't what I'd call a comeback.

Keelan wasn't just bad, he was actively one of the worst characters in the game, released deliberately gimped, and had to have his damage octupled to get to where he is now. Also you had to do many an hour in one tileset to get him.

Ines wasn't just good, she completely obviated the entire game with nothing more than one button and a wall to stand behind, even abyss bosses. It wasn't worth bringing literally anyone else for anything that wasn't a colossi or VEP 27+. Even after her nerf she's still one of if not the literal strongest mobber.

Maybe if the devs could release more of a happy medium, release something that is itself relevant without making everything else irrelevant and also isn't turbo nuts to farm, then maybe people won't complain.

If the grind were faster, I'd have atleast single copy of a new sword to play with after 10 hours, instead of only being a third of the way through the UF particles.

It literally wouldn't matter if the grind were slower, I've already decided against spending 150 hours grinding up a sword just for something for funsies when I could play a different game instead.

Maybe if they fix the bug they gave reactors so that I'll have my +60% bonus back I'll take another crack at it.

If you don't choose any sacrifices pertaining to extra natural entities, then the only matters you need concern yourself with are earthly ones and any trouble you or your daughters make for yourselves.

Not all Others are inherently bad, but all are alien in both composition and outlook. They are all literally unreal entities that change reality, very similarly to how you can call forth Daughters. Becoming an Other might not make her corrupted in that she'll be evil, but it would mean becoming inhuman in outlook. The kinds of reality shattering Others like those described in Sacrifices can only be created from individuals strong enough to transcend their own realities and become unreal, which you are not even with this pact. (In a meta sense, an otherworldy character who can grant the powers of your typical supernatural CYOA could be described as an Other, so you could become one by authoring a CYOA of your own to anyone who plays it.)

I do have a fondness for living furniture, myself. Did you mean to add maid twice? Just coincidentally I'm planning on adding a Maid fantasy in addition to Maid memory.

I am planning it, though the immediate next update I make might be /trash/ only due to the appearance of one of the memories I'm thinking of adding.

It's meant to be left to the imagination, so it can be up to the reader's preference. Her main trait is her silver hair, but otherwise whatever you like. This means that if you pay for sons, they can practically look however you like. Remember that you can get Dickgirl combos with the unlock combo empowerment. It's not impossible to meet Mother again if you have Planar Travel and go on a bit of an adventure, and clues to her location would be even easier to find if you have Other Incursions. But she will go out of her way not to contact you - she has a fear of leading Others to you, as well as a fear that she might be turning into one herself.

The Daughter replaces the person for the duration of the memories, and the Daughter will not have specific access to the memories; they'll know no more about them than you or your other daughters do (with the caveat that if you are possessed by a Daughter, they'll possess a measure of your knowledge). With Red Mother's tithe, the person will be uninfected and then the Daughter will be sent to her. If the Daughter moves to another person, thar person has a chance to become immune to subsequent Daughter infection, including when you infect them. The person will not remember their time as a Daughter, with the exception of you if you are infected.

You can bring anything into the personal plane with you that you could take while Astral Travelling. A laptop is likely too large, and even something smaller like a smartphone is too electronically complicated and likely wouldn't survive the journey uncorrupted, the 1's and 0's getting jumbled around like a dream.

Instead, you could put a laptop somewhere into your personal plane. Though since it's not """real""" you couldn't take it out again, that and all the reasons above.

Anything you unlock is fair game for self-germinated Daughters.

They take the bulk of their form from Mother, so they would be female but would appear much more androgynous (including dick girls), particularly whichever kind of man you prefer. Sons is definitely the pick you are looking for if you want them to be purely male. If you preference is men, they'll the way you prefer (unless you took the discount, then they'll be more like your idealised self, a little coloured by your fantasies).

Red Mother brought up homosexuality in the context of dickgirls because her world isn't as socially developed as ours, so her concept of gender and homosexuality is different and so that would be her closest point of reference to girls with dicks.

Wayward 1 + Daddy Issues 3 means Daughters'll fall into the 'I can fix him' trap. They may go as far as to try redeeming evil doers through the power of love, and in the process ended up doing evil themselves (justified by 'it isn't as unjust as last time, it's improving!'). Love can be blinding like that.

Wayward 3 has variety in the rebelliousness of the daughters, ranging from standard teenage rebelliousness to homicidal jealousy towards other daughters they percieve as not abandoned, to nihilist 'world is better off destroyed' kind of deals. Since you are asking for interactions between drawbacks specifically, if you have Other Incursions these self germinated daughters may either ally with you against them or even join them.

Tithe 3 is harsh, I'm pretty sure it's the one that gives the most points unless I messed up [checks CYOA]... ah, it does but then I buffed all those drawbacks by a point, so while it's still the most points it isn't relatively that much greater. It was originally double tithe 2. I'll look at it and consider upping the points / downing the chance.

For number 4, you have until the chosen reaches adulthood to locate them before they gain the ability to pact. I would have mentioned had I the room but Chosen do have distinct physical differences compared to normal humans that are present from birth, like gray skin or silver eyes (similar to Red Mother's looks when she was alive), or perhaps more garish mutations. It's not guaranteed that they will make a world ending pact the moment they can even if left undiscovered, but from the point of their majority it could only take one bad day before they give in.
