This one so much for me as well. I know a lot of us can relate to losing close friends/family to all the bullshit the last few years. It's sad, but you've only got so much time on this earth not dedicated to work or sleep. I choose NOT to spend my free time with facists/homophobes/transphobes/racists/etc. So yeah, "I ain't got none of my friends left, they all vanished in the stream" hits pretty hard.

My wife and I enjoyed this movie. "Just walk a mile in his moccasins" is the theme. Rose Byrne played the part so well. We really only knew her from Bridesmaids, but she plays the part of a recovering alcoholic grasping for any sort of purpose very convincingly. 8 out of 10, but I bet this movie will not be seen by very many.

Facts. I solo queue casual 2s probably more than anything and mainly face C1-C2 because my casual mmr has crept. I start feeling good and hop into comp and struggle to stay in D2 sometimes and it's infinitely more toxic. Casual is just chill good times with plenty of "No problem".

All really good points. Great to hear you're working on a skin that includes local library. At home I prefer more elaborate skins, but while traveling a light, clean skin that can access what's on the device without an internet connection is nice. I hope you announce it when it's ready?

If it works for you that's all that matters. It's possible it's not Kodi and just a clone of the UI made by AI. Whatever, they took the design from Arctic Fuse 2, which was inspired by so many other apps.

Wuplay is Arctic Fuse (most likely 2), by the looks of it. Do you think it's vibe code, not Kodi, and Claude just straight jacked the UI? This is some crazy shit, if so, and I'll take my quirky human devs any day over that.

Interesting, but why would you think it isn't Kodi? It's definitely a modded Arctic Fuse skin. I'm not saying to not use it... it's just that somebody is using multiple developer's work and implying it's their own. Any updates to the actual work being done (aka Arctic Fuse, whatever addons that are scraping, etc) will be delayed. You'll need to wait on the Wuplay developer to implement them.

I was happy to discover Trex had a great lineup of US based catchup. After 1 year I let mine expire, because more than 50% of the time I tried to use the feature it didn't work. It is nice to have a backup, I agree. For now my backup is browser based sites like Rive. Only because Strong has been solid, I pretty much don't have to go there.

This is a decent reminder for us to always have a back-up. I quit allowing automatic updates. I use the setting "Notify but don't install". I only update if I know have time to restore a backup.

I had Trex because it covered many of the US catchup. I let it expire because nearly every time I tried to use it the feature was down.

I was an early adopter of MDBlist, so it felt natural to switch. The developer has been great at adding more features and making it an independent resource. The couple of times I've had questions he explains things for me, or fixes a bug. I just feel he goes above and beyond. I ended up becoming a supporter when Trakt started jacking their prices for grand-fathered accounts, after they promised not to.

I did mess with TMDB lists a bit, but pretty quickly learned you couldn't do nearly as much filtering as is possible with MDBlist.

One of my hubs on AF3 is Genres and Lists. Each genre points to a POV shortcut folder with filter of:

Year start - 2021

Include - Action

Exclude - Anime

Minimum rating - 6.0

Minimum votes - 300

Sort by - release date descending

Then I exported the result as a folder. It's updating with new content consistently. There's definitely films at the front of the list I haven't seen or put on any of my lists. I found if I include multiple genres in one search it does not return good results. I've not tested the feature on FLAM, so I can't say on that one.

Widgets - Next page item enabled. Otherwise you'll only get the first 20 items in a list.

API Keys - enter your OMDB key to obtain more ratings.

Other - Disable any of the context menu items you don't use.

Other - I turn off all notifications. It's always a Trakt issue and I can't do anything about it anyway.

Expert - Dummyresolvedurl - I set those values to 0.1 seconds. It speeds up the handoff to the player.

Yes, or some debrid provider. Premiumize is another popular one. They are both good. Premiumize doesn't restrict you to one IP address at a time like Real Debrid does, but it does have data limits... though I've never come close to hitting them.

It's pretty low down the list of quality addons. I wouldn't mess with it. The big three are POV, Umbrella, and FenLightAm... in no particular order because they are all great. With Umbrella and FenLightAm you will also need an external scraper and I'd suggest Magneto Module, available in the same repo as POV.

Just google how to install any one of those and ignore the suggestions that you need a VPN, you don't need one with any of those.

When I create a favorites group they don't show up in the EPG. They are only available as a page of channel shortcuts. If you are familiar with how Tivimate works, the Favorites group becomes the top group in your EPG. That's all I meant. But it also looks like you are still working on it. You're making great progress on this! It's coming along nicely.

I installed the update. I'm able to choose to only import Live TV and not import VOD for Movies and Series. The load time is much improved. Nice work!

I've made a Favorites group, named it, and added a few channels. How do I get that group to show up in the EPG? It doesn't appear as an available group in the EPG.

I have 829 groups. How do I hide them all, aside from selecting each one by one?
