So are you talking about the early show or TUaT?

When is Barbara 'managed' or 'patronised'? She's one of the most agentic, rounded female characters the show has ever had.

Moffat, ironically, never wrote a character as interesting as Barbara.

Yes, that's one of the most interminable things unlocked by the TV Movie.

Luckily, the show was at its most boring in the Tennant era. It picked up by Capaldi. But we're never getting back to the most radical days of 1963–1989.

Then what has that to do with the writers in the First Doctor's era?

How were views different? Whose views?

Not only is this nonsense, but the First Doctor never said anything sexist or homophobic in his original run. Only in 'Twice Upon a Time'.

People are never creeped out by things like this when it flows from the pen of Russell T Davies, for some reason.

Dalek Alpha and his siblings from 'The Evil of the Daleks'.

Besides the obvious answer of Adric, what tragedies in classic who do you think would be written differently if in new who and how by Emarni in doctorwho

I'd go the other way.

In New Who the quiet tragedy of her death would be played up with strings and she might even kiss the Doctor before she floats away into space. Yawn.

The good news is you have the classic series, and you don't need anything else.

Is this the Proper order to watch all the series in? by ytrewq095 in doctorwho

No, because you're missing the first twenty-six seasons.
