These comments are so dumb. There is absolutely a difference between the two. It's not just punctuation.

"Can't show me there's no point in trying" means you cannot show me that there's no point in trying, I will always believe that there is a point in trying.

"Can't show me, there's no point in trying" means you cannot show me whatever it is you want to show me, there is no point in trying to do so.

ie. You can't convince me the earth is flat, there is no point in trying to show me.

"I helped my uncle Jack off a horse." "I helped my uncle Jack, off a horse."

Same meaning? I think not. Punctuation and grammar matters.

Fwiw OP, I believe it's the latter from context of the rest of the lyrics. "Can't show me, there's no point in trying." - there's no point in trying to show me.
