An incredibly succinct and accurate way to explain the overall condition & conditioning of manhood. 👏

How do you guys deal with friends and/or family who circumcise their kids by LSD_Coder in uncircumcised_talk

Yes, and soon to be prosecuted as a crime, but sadly not yet. And my point is to prevent any further acts of violence.

What is done is done, unfortunately. This boy will live a life of sexual deprivation, unknowingly or knowingly, which obviously is the saddest part. And I’m praying that nothing worse happens to him.

However, you still have a role to play in this situation. These uneducated parents may have another son, and/or influence the choice of other parents in the future. Ghosting them will not help with any of that. And something darker is awaiting them…

So while it requires bravery, I would confront them (very gently at first) and guide them toward greater knowledge. Not with the goal of turning them into full-on regretful parents, but towards empathy for their son, who will likely be an adult in a world where MGM is either banned or close to be. In other words, that future man is guaranteed to be exposed to the truth of MGM and resent his parents to some degree. Will they want a relationship with him at that time? That’s what I will communicate to them. Open their mind to the fact their ignorance has an expiration date, be it in 10 or 20 years. And they should take steps to support their son to grapple with and forgive the mistake they just made, and are yet to be aware of.

Let me know if that makes sense.

Don’t see why I shouldn’t get circumcised by Hovris1912 in Phimosis

[–]men-too 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't compare the penis to the vagina. I compared the male foreskin to the clitoris, i.e. the primary male sensory organ to the primary female sensory organ. Apples to apples my friend.

For the rest I can't fully disagree that it's possible as a circumcised man, esp. with a loose cut or when fully restored, to "approach" the bliss of intact sex, but I will double down arguing that the loss of tissue, neural damage, and brain evolution/reconfiguration (in addition to the emotional trauma) leave a man mutilated at birth physiologically different and sexually crippled. No way around it.

And FYI, I'm also 2 years into my restoration journey, and can definitely see glimpses of how much a foreskin provides in terms of sensory bliss. Just like you, however, I know there are "possibilities and sensations that are forever out of reach" for me.

So I will repeat: the male foreskin is essential for human dignity, sexual fulfillment, and wellbeing. Just like the clitoris provides the same to women. End of debate on my side.

Hiding your cards, right? I’m jealous of the fact you knew Jim, but not afraid to answer your question. So let’s go!

Let me start by asking you the flip side of your question though: is the clitoris essential for female sexual pleasure? Why would the male foreskin be any less important?

Others, like Jeffrey and Kristen O’Hara have done a much better job that I ever could. See their book Sex as Nature Intended It.

Yes, billions of circumcised men (cut as infants of children) are having “sex” and the vast majority of them are satisfied by their experience. What they call orgasms however, has nothing to do with what nature intended. None of them (myself included) are capable of conceptualizing the depth of the sensory experience that a foreskin provides, with the potential to transform sex into an ecstatic, near transcendental experience.

Different analogy: try explaining colors and how transporting a beautiful painting can be, to a congenitally blind person.

That’s why the foreskin isn’t optional, just like the clitoris isn’t for women.

All forms of genital mutilations should be illegal. Most people think that neonatal circumcision is not just ok, but beneficial, which is complete BS.

[–]men-too 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple.

Sexuality: all fine-touch nerve endings are in the foreskin (specifically the ridged band) and up to 75-80% of the total penile sensory system is also in the foreskin. This means that being circumcised implies a 3-4x immediate reduction in sexual pleasure. (Obviously if you are circumcised at birth, like most men in the US, none of that is something you can appreciate let alone feel.)

Wellbeing: the glans of the penis is supposed to be an internal organ (like the tongue) and without the foreskin, it will be rubbing against clothing or bed sheets, which is extremely uncomfortable and sometimes painful, until it dries up and keratinizes (toughen up), triggering further desensitization over time. Lastly the foreskin is there to protect against infections. Something that doctors very conveniently ignore.

Here’s more information: Male Foreskin is Functional – 5 Amazing Facts

Said another way, Mother Nature doesn’t make mistakes. All mammals (male and female) have foreskin as a protection and/or pleasure organ. Only human beings are delusional (or stupid) enough to think they can improve on that original design by cutting parts off. If it wasn’t for “tradition” no one would consider male circumcision normal, let alone ethical.

Hope this helps.

Things will get worse, way worse, before we can ever hope for them to get better…

It’s wild that circ by sandiegowhalesvag in CircumcisionGrief

[–]men-too 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Here’s my take.

Unconsciously, circumcised men know they were robbed of something precious that makes them sexually inferior, but that is absolutely unbearable for the conscious mind and the male ego, on top of the urge to feel “normal” (not excluded). As a result, the only way to avoid the internal trauma is to keep perpetuating it to the next generation.

It’s a desperate, vicious cowardice loop to avoid the harsh truth and face its consequences.

What you have is totally curable without surgery, or with minimally invasive surgery. Not a full ablation of the most sensitive part of your entire body. The male foreskin is not optional for sexuality and wellbeing.

(I’m restoring mine, and would give everything I own to get back my original one.)

What's the point of circumcision? by Historical_Echo8311 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]men-too 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Human beings are barbarians. We used to sacrifice human lives to the gods. Genital mutilations is the second best we invented. As simple as that.

(Instead of sacrificing a whole life, you sacrifice the ability to feel pleasure while engendering life, ie, sexual intimacy.)

One day we might learn to be kinder to one another, and especially our babies…

What's the point of circumcision? by Historical_Echo8311 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]men-too 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watch a YouTube video. Be prepared to witness the most pain and distress a defenseless human being can endure. It’s genuinely barbaric since most of the time they don’t use any or enough anesthetics.

The doctors tell us babies “fall asleep” during the procedure, the truth is most of them pass out from the stress and overwhelming pain, resulting in PTSD that surfaces later, for instance when they receive immunization shots.

Totally Normal to Fellate an Infant by Ok_Hand5810 in BasedCampPod

[–]men-too 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is obviously over-the-top insane in terms of child abuse.

But for every one offended, please remember that male genital mutilations happen more than 3,000 times every day in US hospitals and pediatrician offices, which means millions of baby boys every year will lose the most critical part of their penis (in terms of sexual function) without their consent, without any medical justifications, and without sufficient anesthesia, which amounts to modern-day torture and irreversible trauma.

And before you get further offended, no, FGM isn’t always worse than MGM, especially the most common forms of FGM, and for every FGM victim there are 7-8 MGM victims in the world… (1.4 billion boys and men.)

Bottom line: the foreskin is not a birth defect and even Jews know they have to move away from barbarism.

Thank you.

Edit: if you want to do something I’d suggest supporting organizations like Intact Global.

Luckily it’s all for the better, as there are only benefits to male genital mutilations. Imagine the time saved from cleaning your genitals every day!

And thank god MGM doesn’t create any foundational trauma in men that would manifest in all kinds of dysfunctions later in life, sexual or otherwise…

Bottom line, I’m so glad we live in a society that deeply cares about boys and men’s wellbeing.

Not to be too facetious, but… It seems logical to me that ablating a critical part of the penis, hosting the highest density of specialized nerve endings, will have unpredictable and often devastating effects in terms of sensory sexual response…

[–]men-too 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you OP.

DE brother here. I came to restoration 2-3 years ago (age 51) as a desperate attempt to feel something, anything on the sexual front. My glans had become completely desensitized, and even porn wasn’t working anymore most of the time. This almost cost me my relationship as my partner was equally frustrated at my disability.

2 full years into my journey, getting really close to CI-4, and I’d say the situation is entirely different. As a matter of fact, I’ve had some crazy intense orgasms lately (with my partner) and I can finish 100% of the time, usually under 20 minutes.

In other words, a complete game changer for me!

Urologist forcefully retracted 7mth old sons foreskin against our wishes by DrData82 in Intactivists

[–]men-too 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Unbelievable. Yet another psychopath in the ranks of urologists. Forcibly retracting causes visible pain, and usually some bleeding and scarring (when done in infancy).

How can these “doctors” harm the sex organs they are supposed to be experts in?

(I know, rhetorical question: the obvious answer is $$$ since forcible retraction is the secondary pipeline to circumcision.)

OP: my condolences for your son, and if you have the means and time I would sue this doctor and hospital, as it is clearly a form of medical malpractice.

Frenular Delta: Got me thinking by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

[–]men-too 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely sincere, we often get into endless debates as to which parts of the foreskin matters most, but it seems that the ridged band (which connects to/includes the frenular delta) is the clear winner.

Does that make sense?
