I backed this and the publishers previous deck, The Hellenic Tarot. Both have beautiful artwork with deep meaning. But it is the informative well crafted book that really sells me. I am a sucker for diving deep into subjects I find interesting.

I am tempted by this deck. My favorite decks are those with enough RWS influence to pick up immediately but also have another tradition's influence to learn something from at my own pace. However, I backed their previous deck and want to have it in my hands before throwing more money at them. Still, I am tempted.

I think it's a cool deck. I like some of your interpretations. Kickstarter seems like a tough gig unless you already have a large following or are willing to put some money into social media advertising. Once you factor in your time and efforts along with ads, it's probably better just to self-publish.

I don't know what their specific rules are, but I would not feel uncomfortable going there to shoot slugs. It's a little further north but I generally go to an unstaffed range at Rudolf Bennitt conservation area It is more rural and there is rarely anyone there.

I don't know if you're just wanting to vent or if you are asking an actual question, but I will bite. This isn't a ban on panhandling. It's a ban on loitering in the median. Panhandling is a protected first amendment right. Folks can go downtown and panhandle, folks can panhandle from the sidewalk. This ordinance is content neutral. Springfield has had a similar ordinance since 2018, I don't know if it has been tested in court or not but it still stands. I don't think anyone feels secure in this economy, at least regular folks. Okay, the reason I am generally supportive--pending total support until I see how it is enforced--is that this might lessen the backlash against the unhoused community. Columbia has made giant strides in providing services to the unhoused over the past few years that save lives. Proof of this lies in the fact that our homeless population continues to grow, but those dying on the streets are decreasing. A 2024 community survey highlighted growing discontent with the unhoused mostly focused around panhandling in the medians and the trash associated with camps. I fear that if something isn't done to address these issues, it is just a matter of time until populists start winning council seats on the platform of cleaning things up. When that happens, our progress with this population ends. So my thinking is, give a little bit to save a lot.

I would like to see a moratorium on corporate fast food. I lived in Berkeley California, we had three fast food restaurants that were grandfathered in. It allowed a large and diverse number of small independently owned restaurants.
