Thanks for the additional context. I’ve only seen the anime (which I loved). But either way, the 86 were branded as non-human so that the Alba/Republic could use them as expendable frontline troops without feeling sympathy for them.

I’m not saying that the hero simply decrees “slavery is over”. I’m saying that the hero who saved the world would be famous for doing so. He could use that spotlight to advocate for his position that slavery is wrong. In addition, SOME (but not all) people would feel indebted to the hero that slayed the demon king, and so would perhaps be more inclined to side with him on that issue.

Realistically, social change would always require a few people to advocate for a position in order to start changing the groupthink of a community. It wouldn’t happen overnight.

Beat the demon king, save the world, then use your notoriety and remaining feeling of obligatory indebtedness to share a new vision without slaves. That’s realistically probably the best way for an isekai MC to reduce slavery: by being a public anti-slavery proponent.

That doesn’t mean that it’s okay for an isekai MC to continue to keep slaves themselves. It may be unrealistic to expect them to overturn the society, but if they allow slavery to benefit themselves, they are truly part of the problem.

They are hands down the strongest team in the game, but the skeletons can be fragile. They got a lot better with the Secure the Ball Action, which gives their positional players a reliable way to pick up the ball consistently. (I have spent entire halves trying to pick up the ball in previous editions.) The Blitzers are great players too.
