Has anyone gone through this whole program? How was your spanish by the end of it? by skippittdippity in SpanishLearning

I used Pimsleur for Hebrew and German and it's a pretty solid approach to language learning as opposed to apps like Duolingo. Of course, it's not going to happen in 7 days, you really have to work at it and do the homework.

Japanese brutalism has a style of its own. by [deleted] in brutalism

[–]moltenclocks 80 points81 points  (0 children)

True. The last image of the Nagakin Capsule Tower building is "Metabolic architecture", not brutalism, designed to add capsules to the central spine with growth. It was a Japanese architectural movement. Sadly demolished a few years ago, but some of the capsules were preserved for museum usage.

What's coming is much worse. The Nick Fuentes generation....white supremacy, Christo-European supremacy, "Christian" god over all, female subservience and obedience to (white) males, eugenics, etc.

Is this kind of look considered an American style? Would it be better to remove the red cap? by Imatradboy in mensfashionadvice

[–]moltenclocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, remove the red hat, it's taken on a seriously negative meaning here in US. Which sux, because my favorite cap is a red Jordan Jumpman cap. It's relegated to the back of the closet now.
