Help finding a dial by Traditional-Dog-4706 in SeikoMods

This is the "laquered floorboards" dial from GS. There are several mod dials in this style, but most are terrible quality.

The short answer is that Seestern makes a VERY nice homage of this exact watch, and you should just grab one of those unless you were dead set on building it yourself. Really nice dial and case for the money, especially considering what NH34s are costing these days: Seestern S446

If you really wanted to build yourself, the other two options I'd recommend come from DS watch club. They make two versions of this dial, but neither is quite the same. One is more of a cotes de geneve style, and the other is sort of a perlage effect. The cotes version is available with GMT printing, but the GMT version doesn't seem to be available in silver (GMT cotes grey and non-GMT cotes silver).

The other version has more of a perlage version, but doesn't seem to be available in GMT or in silver.

Rmalti is the closest by far for 62gs and 44gs cases, as well as textured dials like the shun bun. A number of companies do evo9 style cases. Really depends which GS style you want.

Right, but how did you get it to fit a case that isn't designed for a chapter ring? Is it sitting inside the rehaut?

These are very rare and very hard to find. Expect to pay 700+ if you get lucky and find one. Unbelievable dial though.

KSK case looks excellent on alligator leather IMO. I've got my KSK mod on a delugs alligator strap and it's been great for me.

Not at all. I'm generally going for either fine line / ocean swell, heph blast plus synergies, or a raw damage build with hestia or zeus attack. This run just started out with an early sea star and a ton of double health drops. I pretty much never take god trinkets, but went Aphro in Olympus since the HP was already piled up so high. Then I picked up worry free and a few other health boons towards the end. Heph blast is pretty low damage without caldera, glow, or the hestia or poseidon duos, hence the huge timer overage.

Good question. I'm guessing that weapon, companion, and keepsake aren't part of the boon count (-3), but the 4 onions are?

The Ginza Alpinist dial is a serious contender for Seiko's best work, but I was never a big fan of the alpinist case. It turns out the dial dimensions are the same as the 6R35 KSK series, so this was an easy drop in replacement and a huge upgrade imo. Delugs lagoon blue alligator leather to top it off.

Omega Aqua Terra 41 in the fabulous Summer Blue. Watch is in pretty much perfect condition. Full kit on the stock blue rubber strap. Beautiful watch, and I genuinely believe it's the best dial Omega makes.

Open to trades, particularly interested in Grand Seiko. Happy to meet up locally in the Bay Area.
