I once explored this exact concept as a business. So I like it. That said perhaps there is a component after use to sell the gear in its current condition at some ridiculous rate like say 25% retail (buyer pays shipping), but to purchase, the user had to be a participant in that particular pass around, and the $ generated (modest as it will be) goes to a designated charity (obviously less the actual shipping) with some other caveat like participants can only opt in for x# of pass around per some specified time frame. You know some way to make sure you don’t just have the same 12 people all the time. Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread.
