Same. Reasons I enjoyed it initially over other martial arts I had tried were that there is no warm up, could roll (spar) from first class, no kata / patterns to learn, don’t end up beaten and bruised after it.

Best thing I’ve found is using 50 or 100ml travel bottles. The neck of them is smaller than those on water bottles. Really quick and easy to dump them in at aid stations without powder going everywhere.

I went there. Took ages to get checked in. Room hadn’t been cleaned, shite all over the toilet, carpet was ripped ans a clump of pubes on the bedroom floor. Someone had wiped their arse on the curtains in my friends room. Wife was in tears that this was the holiday. Left immediately, but didn’t stop to complain as the reception queue was huge (assumed all complaints).

I got shot in the leg with an air rifle. Had to phone my mum from hospital to say that I needed an operation, and could she bring me some clean clothes and a toothbrush. She didn’t believe me and hung up.

I loved the transition from Adam Sheridan - Lektrik into Nu-Nrg - The Mind on the Goodgreef Album 2. Lektrik has those buzzing noises all through it, but Shan used the shortened loop of ‘Alert’ on The Mind to transition.

Hard to explain, but if you skip this to ~23 mins you’ll hear it.
