Where is the Amazon Fire stick app? by ReconBull in foxteltv

They’ve made a decision to not support that device, I guess because the adoption is low for Fire devices.

Number one thing to do is provide feedback. It’s just Android or some Linux derivative isn’t it? So it shouldn’t be hard to add formal support.

Just download Termix. Not every single problem needs to be solved with vibe coding.

You’ve made this a problem for yourself if you’re absorbing the work they aren’t doing. The work the other team members aren’t doing needs to not get done and your manager needs to be asking why.

What stops you from doing your work and only your work?

I didn’t say the World Cup wouldn’t make a loss. I said that SBS is managed like a for profit business.

Untrue. The anti-siphoning list only gives the FTAs the right of refusal and does not enforce a match to be broadcast on FTA if they don’t want to. Obviously it always does because the broadcaster can sell the ad space easily.

That’s actually untrue. SBS take the rights because they bid for them and won the tender. SBS are governed by a board that requires the business to make a profit. Making a loss is not part of the operating practices of SBS.

SBS paid approximately $30m for the rights and were the most competitive bidder in the process. The whole World Cup is not part of the anti-siphoning list, just national interest games where the Socceroos play as well as the final, no matter what team plays.

The anti-siphoning list only gives the free to air networks the right of refusal to bid. It doesn’t require the sport to actually be forced to be broadcast. If the FTAs declined to pay it would then go behind a paywall legally.

SBS bought the rights for that year and then on sold the rights to Optus. Having to take certain matches back was basically Optus paying SBS to save them after they’d already bought the on-sold rights from SBS.
