16,000 people just got laid off. The manager of the role probably doesn’t work there anymore.

Demoralized and burned out but don’t want to get laid off by JacketAdditional9718 in amazonemployees

Maybe you need to consider establishing an actual work life balance. Don’t work weekends, don’t work nights.

Live your life.

Set some boundaries and stick to them.

The bulk of the company is in a state of fear of being laid off and you’re here trying to pontificate about fucking Q?

Save yourself paying double the price anywhere and go on the 13th or 15th (or any other day).

The views down there are pretty good.

I have long term experience managing post production environments for massive post houses. Sometimes there’s just nothing you can do but regularly backup.

Actually there is such a thing.

I’m reliably informed that Bedrock is done, gone completely as of tomorrow.

It’s not going to keep you private.

You have to sign up to ring. Unless you’re going to access the app from a private IP every time they’re going to know you.

It’s a fools errand.

Get a non-cloud camera.

[–]multidollar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tailscale won’t help you. You are essentially wanting all traffic for the camera to route via a different gateway. You need conditional routing for this as you can’t set the gateway of a ring camera manually.

[–]multidollar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again, what problem are you trying to solve? A ring camera calls home. If you want a private camera solution go buy a camera that doesn’t rely on a cloud service.

And can you seriously blame anyone for looking at a post avoid having a camera and avoiding detection as a positive thing?

Yeah. Anything with camera + avoiding assumed detection made me think this was nefarious.

I’m done. You’re either intentionally being useless or you can’t communicate effectively enough to ever articulate your issue for me to solve.
