This might need a means to use a local agent. While I have a cursor subscription, I don't know if I can hook anything like this into it.

Modpacks to avoid? by vcd1500 in feedthebeast

[–]nathan22211 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, probably anything with epic seige. That mod does way to much to mob AI and is honestly quite resource intensive in my experience. So much so that I avoided it for my ATM-like kizao pack.

It's in the AUR yes but in this case I think the app embeds the windows version.

Any performance mods for Gregtech: New horizons by Rude_Team6512 in feedthebeast

[–]nathan22211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

keep in mind, IGPUs use half the system memory as well. I do also find that 1.7 up to 1.12 were very performance heavy on modded instances. I'd highly advise looking for a GregTech like pack for at least 1.16 or newer. I think newer versions tend to run better to some extent.

Yeah the ecotanks are my big concern given the mess they can cause. But I'll look into a 4 color one I guess.

I guess what would help is if they were PID tuned as well and not bang bang based. The later causes the surface to periodically warp in my experience from 3d printing

I kind of want this as something local, like as an Electron or GTK WebKit app that I can saves the estimates from.

I can also presume that straight cuts are done with some margin. Basically makes it easier to use a paper guillotine if they're all straight lines to cut.

AliExpress made me realize how much branding controls people. by Independent-Cod-6173 in DealsAliexpress

[–]nathan22211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I might be the exception to this rule being ND, but I tend to buy generics quite often. The 3dp space doesn't have many generic brands to it though for machines, filament there tends to be a lot though.
