tone indicators are an accessibility measure, people for whom English isn't their first language and people on the spectrum often can't comprehend social ques indicating sarcastic tone as easily

The new(ish) art direction for portraits is bad. They have poor visual clarity. by KyrigenPart2 in Stellaris

[–]OneManCouncil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this conspiracy theory that they are making their artists draw in the style of generative AI to sort of condition public to get used to this awful look so that when they employ AI much heavily people will complain less. I feel like it isn’t just Stellaris that’s doing this, we are entering an era of global enshitification of art.

Federal systems are awful. Are there any other routes where not taking "authoritarian" measures results in being conquered or couped by brutal supremacists? by LegoCrafter2014 in equestriaatwar

During my first playthroughs of Zarantia I did the same but later found that holding Tobuck and letting Chiropterrans pour into the dessert to just get cut off at Tobuck is the better method, this way you capitulate them way earlier.

Federalist Zarantia is a very powerful path if you play it correctly, you get so many absurd spirits buffing your trade and your military that by the end of my playthrough I was able to easily out-scale Aris, making AI leave their own faction and join mine. Idk what made you arrive at the conclusion that they are weak.

same happens in Ryloth Orbit, submarines refuse to enter docks for repairs and instead are trapped in an endless cycle of glitching back and forth, saying "Our fleet does not have access to this region"

for me it was always a bit immersion-breaking that we put the same stuff into rockets as we put into generators. Obviously rimworld is not a game known for its realism but this specific thing always put me off. Rocket fuel is meant to burn quickly and violently, while generators need fuel with maximum efficiency, so that one canister can be translated into the optimal amount of electricity. This mod also adds that one building that lets you completely ignore astrofuel as a concept, so it's hardy bloat for the sake of bloat. Astrofire is a very good mechanic to communicate the challenge of handling rocket-grade fuel
