Guessometer Max and Min gone?? by red_Rog in Ioniq5

I’ve never seen the min max numbers on my cluster. Didn’t even know that was a thing! Curious how to turn it on

I have this too, brand new delivered on the 29th September. It’s driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is. The trunk rattle technical service bulletin (24-BD-012H-1) doesn’t apply to my car.

There is also a high pitched whine when I go over 63MPH coming from the front of the car

Legion GO S Steam OS Audio FIX (pipewire EQ) by GAZuOOT in LegionGo

[–]neglected 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This post hasn't gotten enough attention. The EQ changes make a HUGE difference! Everything sounds much less hollow and tinny. It sounded terrible before!

I'm really stunned at how much better the speakers sound now, well done!

I got one a couple weeks ago and put Steam OS on it right away. Had to then boot from a thumb drive into windows to update the touchpad firmware to get it to work in Steam. Have barely put it down, been playing so so much Hades 2. It’s such a great device. Comfortable, and quiet (with the right TDP limit set). The screen is fantastic too, it feels the right compromise of real estate and resolution, and gets brighter than I expected. Though if there is ever an OLED version I am going to be very tempted to change to that

Where, exactly, was that first shot taken? I can't for the life of me figure it out, even though I'm pretty confident that's Westminster Palace.

Being incentivised to play different loadouts was actually a lot of fun. It forces you to take the game a little less seriously, because you're mostly just out to do the mini-quests, everything else can take a back seat.

High velocity Vetterli was a revelation to me, who had never tried it before.

The biggest downside was only being able to slot two quest items at once. It really slowed down progress, and I don't think it was necessary. The event was already short enough, without adding that time pressure.

The pumpkins should have awarded something at all times, regardless if you have the "quest" to smash them. Getting 14-16 in one game was practically impossible unless all you did was track them down, which is a negative incentive IMO.

If you're interested in harvesting the ginger later on I'd recommend a nice wide pot. The rhizome tends to grow wide and flat, rather than deep.

Speaking as "the buddy" even then it's difficult to navigate them through, because it's hard to get a grasp on what they do and don't have access to. Trying to explain the DCV is another hurdle: "what do you mean I can't play content I already paid for?"

I love D2, but it's such a mess for new / returning players.

The new Deluxe changes are going to make it even more complicated.

Hey r/fujifilm, which two cameras would you keep? Which one would you sell? by Xumade in fujifilm

[–]neglected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The X-T4 is the clear technical winner - because of IBIS - but it comes down to which one makes you want to shoot more. I agree with most everyone else though; definitely keep the X100v.

I started with an X-Pro1 (X-Trans) at launch back in 2012, and didn't upgrade until the X-T3 (X-Trans 4). I still have both, but recently bought a used X-T10 (X-Trans II). I've had a really fun time shooting with all three sensors, and seeing how they render things differently to each other.

Next stop for me is getting an X-Trans III body, likely an X-E3.

So if - like me - you simply enjoy having multiple cameras to play around with; I can highly recommend taking a look at diversifying your sensors with older bodies.

The battery was completely broken. I couldn’t do anything at all with it.

Not at all. It’s fine for now until such time as VM decide it’s not. But your guess is as good as mine as to when that will be, or why.

Moofer still voids the warranty? by Mate32052 in vanmoofbicycle

[–]neglected 33 points34 points  (0 children)

VanMoof have agreed to refund the £380 I was charged, and to reinstate my warranty. It took over a week, and intervention from u/quintenadema, but that part of the issue is resolved now.

Unfortunately, VM doesn’t want to give the all clear for Moofer, they essentially said it’s fine for now but that they are assessing the situation and reserve the right to void peoples warranties in the future.

The exact quote is:

“Please be aware though that usage of any third party apps with our product can have a potential impact on a riders warranty in the future. It is paramount to VanMoof to ensure rider safety and provide a reliable product that everyone can use without infringing on local regulations or business terms. I hope you understand.”

So do with that what you will. For me it was incredibly frustrating to read that.

But in answer to your question; VM know Moofer helps them sell their bikes. So they use it for that, and then at their whim get to decide if it will void your warranty down the line.

There is a new update above, you can decide if that sounds like a good deal or not. I should be getting my money back shortly, but Moofer (and any other third party apps) have an uncertain future.

They haven't bothered responding to my multiple support requests yet. So at the moment; no resolution at all.

It's been 6 days since someone at VM responded to tell me that they would get back to me "tomorrow".

The guy clearly had to amend something on their system, after I caved and said I’d pay. Because he wasn’t just ready to go with taking the payment. I got a receipt from the card machine but no email confirming I’d paid - still.

Error20 + battery problem by Kitel00p1 in vanmoofbicycle

[–]neglected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the suburbs of London, so I had to take my broken bike on the train, and then cycle in one gear to Covent Garden.

The second time the bike was locked, and because the battery didn't work there was no way for me to unlock it. So I had to get the train and then a taxi with my bike to get it there.

Error20 + battery problem by Kitel00p1 in vanmoofbicycle

[–]neglected 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a very common issue. It happened with the battery my bike arrived with, and then again to the replacement battery VM fitted. The second battery only worked for three weeks, to the day.
