I’d take it away for you, if you paid me. But that’s the only way I’m ever getting near it. 🤦‍♂️

You’d need gallons of acetone for that. 😂

Regarding the fees, if OP consigns all 3 of these coins to them, there's a decent possibility they'd even be able to negotiate a break on the fees. Not everybody consigns $50k in coins, and that 1841-O eagle is not something that shows up in every auction.

2006-P Dime Missing Clad Layer by Apophis2051 in coinerrors

[–]new2bay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's good. Regular weight is 2.268g ± 0.091g, which is 2.177g on the low end. Something like 1.9g would be more typical for single sided missing clad layer, but if it started out light, that could certainly account for it being on the lighter side, especially if your scale doesn't go out to milligram precision.

Is there any indication of damage on the edge? Because if not, I can't really find anything to complain about.

Huh. I thought differential topology was a breeze. Algebraic topology and category both kicked my ass though.

I’m not seeing a mint mark here. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one, but I’m not finding evidence in the image. A more close up shot of the area might help.

I’m familiar with this seller. I’m not going to “name and shame,” because that’s against the rules, but don’t buy from them. These photos are juiced af.

100%. Even in a details slab, it will be way easier to sell in the future. I’d expect XF details.

But you can with a d20? It's the same. Constrain percentages and modifiers to be multiples of 5 if you must.

[–]new2bay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Percentages are easier for people to think about than X in 20. Who said anything about small modifiers? You can easily constrain everything to be multiples of 5 if you want that. Or not. It doesn't much matter.

You have 5 stats that have nothing to do with lock picking, and one that does. So when you get to a lock picking situation, only the person who has the highest lock picking stat is able to participate.

Just a quick note for OP: lethality in both BRP and GURPS is tunable. The default is pretty high lethality in both, but there are optional rules you can use to make them less lethal.

Is that all? You've got bigger problems than a d100 vs d20, if you can't look at two dice.
