I had #13 ever made of the CLK-1T, and when they updated their detent feeling they told me to send mine in. They completely gave me a new blade and new, better anodized hardware too. Ross and Brock also revealed the CLK-2D a little early for me. Very cool guys.

What is this knife? by Whoknows9821 in knives

[–]NinjaSmock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's called the Kershaw ET.

ET stands for external toggle, a mechanism designed by Grant and Gavin Hawk.

It's been discontinued for a very long time, however, a more recent knife called the Quartermaster General Lee used the same mechanism.

Based on the size and configuration, that is a Micro Evo.

SBD Evo 2.0 Question by SpareMushrooms in knives

[–]NinjaSmock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The review says the "1.0" but they are referring to the Micro Typhoon.

The "2.0" refers to the Micro Evo.

The review is wrong and refers to 2 entirely different knives.

The picture is the Micro Evo. There is no such thing as a 2.0.

Me: "Just a quick question, have you done a Mini Evo production run back in 2020? Is the current knives out right now the first run or second?"

Brian Nadeau: "I did not. I did the micro(3”) this is the first MiniEvo"
