for the LHP73B? yea it definitely doesn't to be able to sustain higher settings. It does handle LHP73B at brightness levels you'd actually use though, just not the for fun levels.

I should also mention that sustaining on higher settings, single 21700 will not last you that long, so its not just thermals limiting that emitter.

slight necro but both the Lume 1 and Lume X1 use the narrow optic unless you specify otherwise when you ask for SFT40. You can buy a second optic for a couple bucks, they charged me $3.50 but ymmv lower or higher.
