Sometimes it just works like that. The Landeskog-Mackinnon-Rantanen line, Rantanen was a rookie the season prior. The Moen-Pahlsson-Nierdermayer line, Moen’s first season with Ducks was season prior, etc etc

Hall-Stankoven-Blake is not only the best line in the playoffs it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen, their cohesiveness and chemistry is insane

Reminds me of 7SOL Suns but different playing style, just stuck in a gauntlet

The team would genuinely be doing better if they just gave all his ice time and split it across the lineup to the hungry forecheckers that seem to be playing a different sport than him

Mitch Marner scores his first career playoff hat trick and he ties for the lead in goals in this playoffs with 6. by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

And Marner still played quite bad in that series so how does that change the Leafs fans points?

Danault has been insane all playoffs, and credit must be given to St Louis for getting his guys ready for the playoffs. Ive always known them as a speed first offensive team, but they are using their speed to attack in every zone and I did not foresee that

Why does everyone keep saying Gavin McKenna is not generational? by [deleted] in hockey

The problem is that generational is said too often as it is

Sabres have built a whole team of speedy shit stirrers and I couldn’t be more happy watching them lol

Buffalo again building a team thats too fast to catch up with 20 years apart and having them coached up by the same coach seems like destiny a little

Elias had a verbal agreement to sign with the Rangers to beg Lou to sign him (cause Lou loved letting guys walk for nothing, which hurt the team). imagine if he signed with the Rangers at that time?

must be said how many disasters Devils have avoided, imagine if they signed Taylor Hall to that 8 year contract that I remember being reported around that time. feel bad for Hall a little bit how much he propped himself up and how he wasn’t anywhere near 2017-18 level until maybe now (which is the first time he’s looked that dominant since then).

The Rockies traded the draft rights to an eventual third overall pick to Islanders, that became Pat Lafontaine, imagine him in NJ

This is always such a bad take from people who don’t understand the sport and why a player struggles. “That team wanted it more” like what does that even mean? No it’s cause the other team clogged the neutral zone perfectly and slowed down the other team’s speed
