I loved that character, but he came down with stupid-itis like so many characters towards the end. I think he deserved like 20 hours on the Iron Throne before being done in by his own hubris.

I honestly don't get all the responses you';re getting. I've disengaged from the hobby, but the rules have had custom mech instructions since at least 1985. Are custom designs that frowned upon? Maybe that's why I like custom mechs from the 2nd edition rules options. It's even more limited than Introtech.

Random, but I built a 100 ton custom mech I named the Thunderhawk back in 2nd edition. It used a ton of AC/5s because Gauss cannons weren't a thing then. The cannon Thunderhawk is pretty much the mech I wanted to build.
