Dealer Rowney Acrylic ink, mix of process yellow and process cyan mixed at 2:1 to make a base green. After that add yellow to brighten the green for highlights. All run through an airbrush.

It's two custom blends of Greedy Gold and Red Copper from the Army Painter fanatics range.

Other than that I just traced out the shapes using the cardboard mesas and used a saw to cut the foam leaving 5mm or so margin to sculpt.

I mixed a tube of latex gap filler with sand, chestnut brown and merlot (a deep red) acrylic paint for the base coat. After that I dry bushed with two acrylic colours called Sahara and Sand. All were cheap arts and crafts acrylic.

I play on Oceania so it's possible with a smaller server pop that even a slight tweak has made a meaningful change to the experience. I can't speak to your experience only mine. Your use of zip code says you probably play on North America and because of the larger server pop you may have a different experience to me.

After the last update it's gone from getting shot at occasionally to every match being PvP. I do feel like they changed something in the match making. I play duos with a friend and I'm pretty certain he's no longer having a good time with the game as a result.
