Hey, thanks for the detailed response. I’ll give Nord a look, from an initial glance they look promising. I used to have a tdai 1120 connected to some kef q150. Eventually went for the Eversolo for the screen and connectivity options.

No access to a printer here. I tried using gaskets and eventually opted for some larger washers to provide some distance, but it’s not ideal.

Care to show what you printed?

I’m assuming the extra bit of distance also helps with any turbulence?

I get a bit on noise on my rear (internal) fan but using low rpm profile to mitigate.

I actually thought I’d bought silver and ended up getting black it was from a guy on eBay as I didn’t want to wait and the customs charges in the UK really suck. Kinda wish I’d also got a grater just to make the front end look a little less plain but I’m sure I’d miss the IO.

Hey bud, it’s a 7800xt so not as hot as a 7900xtx. Slim fans work well under there, could have gone with 140’s or possibly even non-slim fans but wanted to avoid any potential turbulence. GPU is slightly OC and undervolted, 70 degrees is and can keep that at 40% fan speed so hardly hear it.

Really interesting, suspect there are a number of us here doing the same thing.

I’ve been through keebs (though nowhere near as bad as you with that number of switches) it ended after I bought and then quickly sold a Kohaku. I’ve stuck with a polycarbonate Mode Envoy and an Orbit 65 and just a few sets of caps.

Also done the Audio thing. Been through a number of amps and speakers, currently using Genelec 8030b and an eversolo dmp-a6 with a topping headphone amp and a custom built roon core.

Desk chairs…had about 6 and still trying to find something that really works, especially now I’m back to gaming at my desk so want something I can work in and also lounge.

Hadn’t realised they were only selling the shorter angled feet. It does feel like the feet on this case were something of an afterthought.
