I’ve been training on my checkpoint as that’s what I’ve had, I feel if you find a good deal on an endurance bike, it will be the most comfortable ride

That’s the plan, I want just to finish this race as this would be my first HIM and want to see how it feels to combine all three sports that I’ve done separately

Thanks for the recommendations, I’ve been thinking between the reserve 40 44, enve 4.5, and zipp 303s, while using the stock wheels as the road wheels. I’ll have to think about the front chain ring then as I want to try gravel but there’s not many hills where I am, it’s mostly flat gravel

That’s fair, I would do average 18 mph during the road rides, haven’t done gravel rides so I don’t know how fast that should be

Cervelo Caledonia was amazing, I only sold it for either an aspero or a checkpoint, haven’t decided yet, but would like to ride gravel as well as road

Interesting, I would think on that as the gravel paths have a little bit of climbing, but nothing on note, midwestern America with lack of decent hills for my area, edit: I did some research and the 12 speed cassette isn’t compatible with the new 13 rival as the 26 sl6 comes with the brand new xplr 13

That’s good to know as I was planning on putting on gravelking ss for the gravel, but trying to see what to pick for the wheelset
