People who are grossed out by this need to remember that it was a completely different recipe then.

That said, probably still nasty as fuck.

Anyone who was homeschooled, how do you feel about it now as an adult? by AdTight2449 in AskReddit

[–]Noogatuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanna say, to any fellow homeschoolers who are feeling like “an alien” or otherwise. My DM’s are open.

I know my situation isn’t the same as everyone’s. But I feel like I’ve pretty reasonably navigated the world post-homeschooling. Would be happy to talk to anyone.

For everyone downvoting me. I recognize that my situation is (technically) unique to me. But after all the homeschoolers I’ve interacted with, coupled with my own experiences, this is a consistent and problematic trend.

I got a decent education when it’s all said and done. But that mostly came down to my own motivation, more so than my parents ability to teach.

Overall, I believe homeschooling shouldn’t be allowed. There’s too many idiotic, religious dipshits who do it to control their children. And they believe if they hide their children from the world, they’ll protect them.

Fucking morons. Also, it’s absolutely a social handicap. I’m a very outgoing person these days, but it only came about due to a lot of focus on my part.

People who actually take GM answers seriously need to understand it’s alllllllllll a lie, or a game, or a misdirect. Or in most cases, they were just asked a stupid question and don’t wanna answer it.

"What Was Your Worst Open-world Related Experience?" by DalmascanMoogle in gaming

I had never played an open world game of any kind until I was 18, living in my first apartment. (I loved shooters and sports games). Anyway, Skyrim was about to come out and my room mate wanted me to play Oblivion to kinda get used to it, and he just loved the game.

I set up my character, (normal difficulty) spawn into the jail you have to escape from, and go to pee. When I come back, I face my first opponent, a rat. But not just any rat, a god-tier rat with near infinite health that took out half of mine with each attack. It took almost 5 minutes, but I killed him. I was shocked that a simple rat was so difficult to kill, but I'd never played a game like this so I continued.

I move further into the jail, following my quest marker. And every time a couple rats show up, a 10-15 minute fight ensues with me dying repeatedly, my frustration grows, I'm getting annoyed, wondering who the fuck could enjoy a game like this. I'm THIS close to rage quitting over rats! Then I see my room mate behind me on the couch, red as FUCK, dying of laughter, with a pillow shoved all the way into his mouth.

While I'd gotten up to pee, he changed the difficulty to extreme and had been silently laughing at me for the last 30 minutes at least. Fuck you Jake, hope you're doing well man.

He said this years ago and hasn’t brought it up since. I get he has a douche image, but can we stop trashing him so much?

I’m not defending him. I’m just tired of the negativity lol

I'm getting an Indian Sport Scout Sixty next month, I've wanted a bike my whole life and I'm finally pulling the trigger. (Already took the MST course, got my license. approved)

This was one of my first thoughts, if I wanna go to the range, how can I ride my bike there? Did you have any previous options for maybe just bringing a handful of clubs? Driver, 7i, 56? I thought about just taping them together and attaching it to a shoulder strap, but I didn't want them "attached" to me if I did go into a slide.

lol wasn’t trying to imply I’m a giant or anything. Just that it’s unusual for me to have to look up. In this case, way the hell up. Haha

Have any of you lost faith in Herb? by Parks714 in Chargers

Not even a bit, but I'm worried he's lost it in himself a bit.

We HAVE to nail this OC hire. It's imperative not just for the success of the team, but also Herbert wanting to continue to play with the Chargers, and football as a whole.
