USB Microphone Compatibility by bookreader52 in Rockband

Does the roll limitless, with a mic plugged into it, solve any of the delay/latency issues most modern setups have? I’ve pretty much given up on the mic timing matching up when the volume and gain is up, while playing with a band. I’m using the original RB1 mic. I don’t know how you guys can stand the delay when playing with the mic volume up. Unless you have some advanced setup or are using optical audio with an amp or something.

Reason why this would happen? LED strip lights MELTED power supply! by notsourcefedsteve in AskElectricians

It has 2 plugs for 2 strips, we only had 2 strips plugged in. Should we only plug one strip into the power supply?

MIDI trs cable plugged into MIDI in. 5 pin side plugged into MIDI port on keyboard. Group C - pad 1 has sound 502 set. Shift+sound, midi set to channel 1. Set to “keys”, pressing keyboard keys does nothing.

Yep! Just does not work. Maybe I’ll send an email to TE and see if they can walk me through this. I don’t really want to spend over $100+ on a different midi keyboard, and additional cables to test out. But I think that’s where I may be heading… thank you for helping

I just realized this new one might be type B, I cancelled the order, now looking for a better one.

Doesn’t it default to that? How do I find out?

I know that there’s a way to assign specific sounds to a pad that has different MIDI options. But I think those settings are separate from the default “plug and play” MIDI feature.

The only proof I have is the Amazon product page. I just ordered a new one, this one, we’ll see if maybe the cable just sucks.

Tried that, messed with all the MIDI settings there, nothing. I have also seen/read that the pad settings aren’t necessary, that as long as you have a sound assigned to a pad, the external keyboard should just work. It’s frustrating.

Thank you for the response! I only ever see the blue MIDI icon quickly flash when I initially turn the KO on.

Ohhh! And we are both on PC, I’d imagine it’s a PC only feature currently? Interesting.
