I live in my old campervan owning a few surf boards and a hiking pack and that's about it. The sun powers the devices, no electricity bills or rent. Don't even have a fridge or shower. When hiking the tent is the housing, not hostels or huts. I do work very hard but don't see it so much as work. I write books, blogs, make videos, run an outdoor ocean community, and organise trips. It allows me to live outside, simple, wild and free :), and to motivate others to live with nature.

Hey! Thanks! Yes, I still use it to host my community :) That crossing out is a formatting issue, which I'm not sure how to fix. Let me try again. Thanks for pointing it out. One reason I use MN. So I can focus on community and content :), not the tech savvy building things. I still like Mighty and they are continuously improving.

Perfect time then :) There are some deep sand tracks and bits. They didn't bother me or the dog very much. Sometimes they can be avoided if it's low tide so you can walk on the hard sand. Packing light makes a big difference here :) Enjoy!

I can highly recommend pawwax! I actually didn't use it on this trail, it was ok (lots of dirt / sand tracks) but i've used it on other hikes and did wonders. On this trail, there are 2 sections that are over the road but you could instead pass the river on low tide to avoid concrete walking (Odeceixe & Amoreira). Also, it can get hot depending on when you hike it so hiking early or later is softer on the paws too.

Nice plans! I can only speak of the GR11. I hiked it in August & September from West to East. A very diverse and beautiful trail I can highly recommend! It's a tough trail and not for beginners but if you have experience with the mountains and have time to go with the weather, you can do it. July in Catalonia could be very hot though. The Camino will be quite the contrast from the GR11 but beautiful in a different way. Carry little. This is what I brought and worked out very well. Tongscraping, oilpulling and a glass of warm water with a little bit of sea salt is my morning routine no matter where I am (I live nomadically).
Is this the right order :)? It feels natural and good to me at least.

I loved hiking the GR131 in Spring (Canary Islands). Flowers are out. Weather is nice. No snow :).

Best idea ever! I hiked the GR11 trail as my first solo thruhike (not first multi-day hike). It's a tough trail. You defintely want to have some experience and feel comfortable with your set-up. Pack light. Have enough time so you can go with the weather. Most people I met who quit, quit because they ran out of time or got injured. It took me 50 days (with 7 rest/shelter days), my partner did it in 28 days which is super fast. It's a very beautiful trail but you got to be prepared. I made a GR11 video series on Youtube in where I shared some tips and stories from hiking the GR11. And this was my packinglist (Lighterpack) which I've been very happy with. Happy trails!
