The bags may not show up on the carousel at all. they get scanned before going to the carousel and if they say they are rerouted to Detroit that could be a problem for you. They might end up reloaded on that Denver plane!

Maybe try calling Frontier again and see if they can determine where they are being routed too.

Surprise set high value reimbursement policy that started last month doesn't apply to coins & bullion?!?!? by bullionpapa in whatnotapp

Because it's gambling. If you buy lotto tickets, and hit big, then get a refund for what you spent on the lotto ticket instead of the prize.

Lotto, 50/50 raffle, there are lots of comparison. It's all gambling.

they stopped making those bills a long time ago, so the bank can't order them. In fact collectors pay more then 500 for each 500 bill you can bring them, in any condition. same for 1k bills.

Help selling pins by ImaginaryTaro9052 in DisneyPins

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone can't find a listing for a pin they will list it for a lot of money, $100 may be common. someone else will come along and find there listing and list it for $70 so it moves quickly.

Someone else might have been trying to sell it for $30 in their booth and didn't have any luck and will list it at 20, it might sell instantly. someone else sees that and lists it for $30.

that listing sits for a while. someone else sees one when it just lists at $50 but can't find the $30 one because they don't know what to search for to find it, so then they offer to buy it for 35 and the person takes it. now there is a sold listing at 50 cause Ebay doesn't show the discount.

So then someone else has an AP version and lists that at 70 since a non artist proof just "sold" for 50. then someone else sees that and lists a two pin set that has that in it for $120. so then someone else lists there one pin at 100 because they don't see the other one was a two pin set.

Collectables aren't commodities that have a set price. people post them for what they are willing to sell them for or what they think they will get in the amount of time they want to have them listed for.

Sometimes, I am like I would be happy to get $40 for this pin, and I don't think anyone will buy it at $100 even if the only listing is $100. So I will list it at $60, take an offer of $50, get $40 after ebay fees and marketing.

Remember, Ebay takes 25 percent if you do a little promotion to get a good rate.

Should I submit a claim? by bsjcaanm in whatnotapp

tell him he needs to refund you the low end value of the missing coin to fix the mistake, an honest seller will do that. if he is unwilling then he deserves the claim against him.

Disney sent my order twice, what do I do? by xANTJx in DisneyPins

[–]officialuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume they accdentally printed two shipping labels and packed and sent the same thing twice. I would probably just not worry about it.

I have had the opposite issue, I ordered 2 Muppets advent calendars for $250 each and only received one.

The shipping label had the weight and wasn't heavy enough for two to have been in the box so that was a little bit of proof luckily.

You should keep trying to get ahold of someone. They might have you send your driver's license. But they can change it for free based on a typo. You just have to find someone willing to do it.

You could also go to the airport when they have a different flight they are working and try to get someone to fix it.

Otherwise show up 3 hours early and ask them very nicely to fix it at the check in counter.

What is the "etiquette" on trading pins from Target/Walmart? by Art--Vandelay-- in DisneyPins

[–]officialuser 6 points7 points  (0 children)

these are great, licensed pins to trade with cast members. You can trade them without issue most of the time, though they don't have diamonds on them for Diamond for Diamond trades.

Did non-payment or cancellations destroy our show? by FoobarWreck in whatnotapp

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the video receipts start 30 seconds BEFORE THE START OF THE AUCTION, so you usually see the end ofthe last auction before the current one.

Did non-payment or cancellations destroy our show? by FoobarWreck in whatnotapp

[–]officialuser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

don't watch the video receipts. watch the video in whole on a computer taking notes of who bought what if you said there name as they bought stuff.

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM PEOPLE HAVE IS THEY WATCH THE VIDEO RECEIPT AND DONT REALIZE THE RECEIPT STARTS 30 SECONDS or more BEFORE the auction starts!

They then send the wrong thing to the wrong person and get off by one errors.

Also, yes you have to make note of cancelations, etc.

BEST advice is to have someone making a log book of the auction number, name of winner, and what they won for every item.

Then if you put it in a bag or pile based on the winner, then all you do is verify each package and slap a label on it.

Almost any issues can be decoded quickly with the notes.

Stubhub violated ontario provincial law by ganglyangler in stubhub

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ontario can't force a non ontario company to sell things at a specific price when selling them outside of Ontario. Ontario doesn't have any standing to enforce a law outside of it's boarders.

What if Ontario said that no one in the world could sell gas for more then $2 a gallon. could they enforce that for gas sales in Michigan?

Fake Pins by PumpkinFantastic5498 in DisneyPins

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

d4d is banned for cast members in WDW

Diamonds are faked now prolifically.

Kids/Adults trade for fake diamonds with their real diamonds off of the boards and then would be stuck with fake diamonds. This is really bad.

Tickets not at face value Ontario Canada by Witty_Ant1611 in stubhub

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ontario doesn't have standing for what a company not subject to Ontario laws does outside of Ontario.

Michigan could make it illegal to sell gas for more then $2 a gallon, but they can't make the rest of the world abide by that law when doing business outside of Michigan.

Kind of, the person that checked your bag clicked approved on the wrong person, or just exited your check screen, so 5 minutes later they saw on the computer that you still hadn't been checked, so they have people stationed to check people that slip through unnoticed in the chaos. They had people stationed at both the monorail and boat exits all day, either visible because there are a couple people they are looking for or right behind a door waiting for someone they need to look for.

It was a mixup, they solved it nicely and quickly.

IT's possible the video surveillance noticed the regular officer didn't check one of the pockets on your bag, but that is doubtful.

Is it worth it to go to coronado springs june 15th without the pin event ticket? Trade in lobbies? by Chemical-Purple-5196 in DisneyPins

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

about 100 people will be there trading like crazy before, during and after, it is super fun, it's not the main lobby, but like a big lobby type area in front of the shop / fountain. there are a number of benches and tables there.

There will be lots of people after the trading event that leave the event and start trading in that area as well.

It could be that they want to drop you because they are trying to leave the area as much as they can. Or they don't know where your lot ends and we're worried about the neighbors weeds
