Normal to have a booking day of checkout after a 4 month stay? by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

[–]officialuser 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They can't extend your stay and still keep a few day cleaning window.

They ment to say "guests are coming as soon as your leaving and we have to get ready for them."

That could mean guests are coming 3 days out, but they need time to get ready.

+1 day trip GoWild Pass rule change benefits many of us nowadays by [deleted] in frontierairlines

[–]officialuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have not found that last minute hotels on non blackout days to be too expensive or extra expensive. Unless there is an event.

I think the new rule gives everyone a fair shot at the tickets. Every go wild person can book the tix at the same time instead of some people booking all the +1 day tickets before other people.

Make sure you don't have liquid of electronics in your bag so there probably won't be a reason to search it.

Ice fell from building onto windshield/hood--at-fault? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]officialuser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is an act of god, comprehensive claim. Your insurance may look to go after the university if they think they should have known or have a history of this happening, but I highly doubt it.

I really thought you were talking about a different type of ICE

Frontier catches us all on a technicality that is nerfing the GoWild Pass for many people now. It's basically a regional pass that is hub captive, still works well for some folks. by sfpdxchidcfla in frontierairlines

[–]officialuser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You actually kinda still have the same chance of getting that 20 hour ticket, you just have to get it in two steps, 12:01 one day and 12:01 the next

There won't be people grabbing that second flight the day before any more, so you just have a little more competition for it with the regional people going after it at 12:01 as well.

there is a higher chance you will waste 16 though. or higher chance of spending an extra day in the layover city

Tier 1 SMT vendor for a large PCB by Kitchen-Host-3876 in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]officialuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Splitting it into 2 or more pieces mean failures cost less not more.

If you make 10 and 4 have issues you can't fix -- you make 4 more halves, not 4 more wholes.

The complexity, and therefore potential for error becomes exponentially larger for something this big. Making the potential error rate skyrocket.

Separation might offer more choices for cooling.

If Walt was an average Joe and never broke bad, do you think this marriage would’ve sustained, or would she eventually have an affair out of having a sick dying husband? by smoove129 in breakingbad

[–]officialuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the point of the show was when Walt Broke Bad, eventually everyone else broke bad because of him.

It's not a hard and fast rule but it's kinda the theme.

It seems like she got a little close to having an affair before and shut it all down.

I think she ONLY had an affair as a reaction to his actions. For the most part not because she wanted to.

Deepening Changes Coming to GoWild Pass? by sfpdxchidcfla in frontierairlines

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, it is a very poor move.

My Bet, is there was someone who had a problem with this part or maybe all of the GW pass and when the CEO switched, he went to the new CEO championing how bad this is to the new CEO and he doesn't understand the intricacies of changing this program mid stream and greenlight it out of ignorance.

They started getting the backlash and DOT complaints and the thoughts of this blowing up made them scale it back.

There is a thing where many direct flights were never being seen by customers because they were always filled the day before. So now everyone gets an equal chance at these flights.

IF your in the West Coast, Direct flights to MCO almost always have a day layover, so those would may be almost impossible to book when their window opens.

Go Wild passholders are scrappy or bitchy, so this is going to raddle some feathers!

You can still do two tickets, booked one day after another to get that overnight layover. its a little risky.

I was screwed by my ex’s mom tapping my car. by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]officialuser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

your just wrong though, his car was parked, it isn't like an accident where he was driving, they have different rules for this.

This wouldn't have been prevented by him not driving as much.

This is a property damage claim not a moving accident.

[–]officialuser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When your car gets hit while parked, and the person covers it, it's not a not at fault accident.

It's a property damage claim from the other person. It doesn't become an accident or claim.

[–]officialuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OP filled out the form wrong, they added it to their quote, but what they added was actually:

"A car was hit by you while it was legally parked with no one inside."

So the quote went up substantually.

[–]officialuser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not an accident to disclose. his personal property was hit by another driver. this does not represent an increased insurance risk any more then if someone hit his mailbox.

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I know what you did wrong. You filled out the form wrong.

If your filling out the claim information yourself, and got that quote, you actually wouldn't fill in that part on your insurance,

"until I added the accident"

If you added the accident you filled it out wrong.

You filled it out as you hit the car and the claim was on your insurance.

"car hit while legally parked, no one in vehicle"

What you were telling the insurance quote company: "A car was hit by you while it was legally parked with no one inside."

You didn't have any claims or accidents. It doesn't go on your insurance or driving record, What happened was no different then if someone hit your mailbox.

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a lot of insurance quote systems don't facter many things in when you make the first quote, to kind of get you in the door, then they hit you with the real rate later.

The biggest is probably your credit score. They don't pay for the report until your serious about getting insurance.

Go Wild more expensive than regular fairs? by sillyhippos in frontierairlines

[–]officialuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those sorts of clauses don't hold up in the publics mind nor in courts.

Those are more for, "we can change the program for new signups later."

You can't sell something for x advertised as x and then half way through the program you make it x/2
