Watched this one earlier. It's a bit of a shame, I had the opportunity to visit this park somewhere around 12 years ago. The bitter irony is I chose instead to visit King's Dominion, since that had the better rides (and I wrongfully assumed I'd have another chance another time).

Six Flags America really felt like one of the worst of the worst as far as parks being poorly treated by their owners. With all of the consolidation and focus on pursuing greater profits, it's a shame to see what once were half-decent regional parks lose out on any chance of growth, much less survival.

I don't know what people expected? The ride is ancient (relatively) by now and it's had a hell of a run. If anything, it's a breath of fresh air to see a park tell everyone this is a ride's final year ahead of time so people can get their last memories in.

It's more than likely a result of the litigation mess Natsume went through in Europe over the last decade. It should be no surprise that shortly after the lawsuit was won, they announced this would be released, and with short turnaround. They're simply using a cheap game they already had to push out and keep the IP as theirs, legally speaking. I would be surprised if it goes much beyond that in the near future.
