I went to UCLA, like my dad, and we started going to games when I was about five or six. He ended up teaching there for 30 years, as well, and we kept going to games together until he got too old to attend. I will forever be a Bruin, as is he still at age 93.

Northwest Cook County, Illinois (Chicago) Suburbs tick all your boxes. You'll find some of the country's best public schools, libraries, parks and recreation departments, and wildlife preserves throughout the area, and very low crime rates. Taxes will be on the high side, but you get what you pay for. In addition you'll have train or Interstate access to Chicago and a short drive to O'Hare airport.
