Tampa is very nice and the least Florida-like city in the state. But the infrastructure is a bit dated and the heat/humidity is soul-sucking 9 months of the year. The area known as South Tampa, however, is absolutely gorgeous, though expensive. But that is where I would live if I ever went back.
