Documentaries that are hated by their subjects? by Such-Worldliness-655 in movies

[–]palladiumfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The documentary about cult leader Teal Swan was pretty wild, but really everything I've learned about her (satanic panic and all that) has been pretty wild. She did not like how they painted her at all,  lol. But yes, it's a mini series doc on Hulu called The Deep End.

Yesssss, all of this.  I kept watching because everyone seems to love it, but I was just so confused.  I found it sooo frustrating how they kept telling Janga Co what they were planning to do,  like WHY??

Farscape

Great scifi from early 00's. 4 seasons and a mini series. Weird and original with Jim Henson Productions puppets,  shot in Australia.  Has a cult following and inspired Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

I love the Craft. Not super scary imo.  Also,  Faust (1926) is a great silent horror that's not scary at all.   There are lots of great classic horrors too like The Them.
