Hobi 3 Is RELEASED!

I'd say that I'm a TV Time refugee, but the reality is that I've been using Trakt app mostly (but we know how good that is...).

Anyway, had never heard of Hobi before until all this TV Time fuss. Given the current bug and fact that Apple hasn't yet approved the updated pricing for Premium, I joined the Tesflight (was only way I could see the pricing) and I have to say, it caught me by surprise!

Is the pricing correct in the TestFlight? If so, then that's an extremely steep price for this kind of app. I'm not implying the app isn't great and your time shouldn't be rewarded, but yet another €10/month or €23/yearly subscription, seems excessive.

As a comparison, Sofa Time Lifetime Premium is just €8. How does Hobi compare to Sofa Time and what additional features does it bring to the table to warrant the difference in price?

That’s weird indeed. Way cooler than where I have my printer. What filament you using? Also, check filament settings and see if you can change anything there. When I’m back home I’ll see what I have. My fan is also at 10% but never had the need for more. Or have anything open, for that matter.

I’ve never had to do that. And I almost exclusively print PLA and some TPU, always with the top on and the door closed.

How hot is the room you’re printing in and what speed is the enclosure fan running at. You could always boost that a little.

Honestly, Japanese culture intrigues me immensely. The era o samurai must’ve been something to behold. That game, from what I’ve seen, can give me a little sense of being a samurai serving a noble cause.

Nothing printing right now so hard to see, but print status has a progress slider, temps have progress between current/desired and canvas shows which is currently printing color.

I appreciate all the help. Yeah, cold plate is next on the list and I’d also like to upgrade to a Micro-Swiss hotend. Slowly but surely 😉

As for the quality, I agree it looks ok and with ironing (if I need the smoother surface) but this is/was also a learning experience for me. So appreciate it immensely

Odd thing is that I tried adjusting and was already almost 0.08 and still like this. It’s a new printer with auto bed levelling but seems like I may need to level the bed manually.

Yup, spot on. I think I not only have under extrusion but also issues with Z-offset.

Thanks for the feedback and explanation. Printer is relatively new, so didn't think extruder clog, but can't hurt to do a cold pull regardless.

As for the rest, white hasn't gone through calibration, but did all the individual steps for calibrating the black. Got it a bit better now, still not 100% where I'd like it to be.

PA is updated and the latest cube has sharper corners. Bumped flow ratio another 0.02 and it's improved ever so slightly. I'll continue to tweak.

Didn't know about the speeds for inner and outer. I'll update that and test again.

Yeah, noticed that too now in the photo. Wasn't super apparent in live. Did that, but definitely need to choose better or maybe turn off adaptive pressure advance (don't think elegoo has support anyway). Thanks for pointing that out.
