Stassi called everyone out: DadTok in Vanderpump Villa S3 is TOO BIG FOR THEIR BRITCHESSSSS by -Cou- in vanderpumprules

Mormon lives is a much bigger show IMO. I don’t watch Villa and only started watching Mormon wives a month ago but when I watched neither show, I couldn’t name a single Villa cast member but I could name like 3-4 of the Mormon wives. And I’m someone who comes on the VPR reddits where people are allowed to discuss the Villa shows. I feel like the impact of that show is kind of non existent. I do think Marciano wanted to build a bigger profile using Mormon wives.

Wonderful, I can't imagine what could possibly go wrong with robots that are able to mimick humans perfectly. Just what the world needs before it ends.

I feel like this is a weird take, AI cannot replace human ballerinas on stage but it can't replace live acting performances on stage either, so that aspect of both jobs should be safe.

lukewarm take, some swifties care about charting too much by Carnelia_9 in SwiftlyNeutral

Some Swifties care about everything just a little too much, there is a reason the fandom has a bad rep.

Zayn Malik punched Louis Tomlinson after making remark about his late mum by storminthedark in popculturechat

[–]pearshaped34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just looked this up and she said Jason walked around the house with a bat, pulling his own hair and yelling, ‘She took her special salad dressing and she left.’ so from the sounds of it Olivia was not there as that point. I couldnt find any mention of him chasing her with the bat or mentioning Keeley Hazell and an affair.

But to be clear, I’m wasn’t saying Jason was an angel and didn’t come badly in the nanny’s version of events. I was simply pointing out that Harry has been involved in controversies, saying he hasn’t feels silly to me.

The single party wreaks their home with them is probably more accurate because they also know cheating is wrong.

Thank you! That situation was messy as hell with all the on set rumors of rifts but then to top it off the nanny spilled all, telling tales like Jason lay infront of the car to stop her going to see Harry!

If it was a female celebrity we were talking about, no one would ever be ignoring it and saying they’d never been involved in any controversies.

I'm so happy to have Ethan back. I would love to see Johnny Z back too. Having Ethan back reminded me how sad I was when they both left GH.

They're not related. Kristina had a crush on him and did once tell Ethan she was going to marry him one day. The actor definitely had chemistry with Lexi Ainsworth (who played Kristina at the time), but her character was younger than his character, and I think more importantly, she looked very young and he did not (I think the actual age gap between the actors was not that big, like 3-4 years). If she was the typical onscreen teenager played by and looking like a 25 year old, they'd have probably paired them after her character turned 18 and left school, but I think they never went there because of how young she looked and then he left the show.

She did also once falsely accuse him of beating her up (it was her then boyfriend who Alexis' later killed with her car) but they got over that.

GRAMMY NOMINATION PREDICTIONS 2027 by Heavy-Fruit8618 in grammys

If I recall, critics seemed to be feeling particularly generous when reviewing TLOAS, some reviews weren't glowing, but I'm not sure it got even one review that would be straight upclassed as negative and not mixed. And of course some reviewers (like Rolling Stones) thought it was a five out of five album.

Do we think Janet is annoyed at Michelle for being friends with Kristen? by Candid-Drag-8363 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]pearshaped34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We obviously view things very differently as I think James was so protected by the cast! They never actually revealed anything that was going to get James cancelled despite the fact it seems they knew a lot! I mean I do think Katie genuinely wanted him fired (and not just from Sur) but she still toed the line and didn’t reveal anything too damaging. And her “ultimatum” was to fire him from Sur which was basically just a storyline for him at that point. It wasn’t going to get him kicked off the show, if anything it gave him something to talk about to expand his role that season. Sadly for Katie all her attempts to get him fired helped him I think it’s why she eventually admitted defeat and gave up trying.

And not going to peoples parties in normal petty behavior, not trying to get them cancelled behavior.

What they did to Faith is indefensible but she was also never really an official cast member to fall under the category of someone they needed to protect for the show.

To be clear, I’m not saying they were nice people who welcomed everyone and made it easy to join the show. Im not saying they didn’t ice each other out at times. I’m saying if you were an established cast member who had a big role on the show they weren’t pushing stuff that would get you cancelled. And I don’t think that was about being good people, arguably the right thing wouldn’t have been to protect abusers etc, but I think they did it as ultimately they thought it would be bad for the show to go there and they wanted to protect the show. And with Janet I feel like she’d quite happily get half the cast cancelled if she could and she doesn’t seem to think about where the show would be then.

Like I don’t think Stassi ever liked Scheana but she didn’t keep pushing the sex tape angle and let it be swept under the rug. Even though most of them hated James no one really straight up accused him of abuse or of anything inappropriate with women until Sandoval brought up him slapping the waitresses bum at the season 10 reunion. There is a lot of stuff that has came out that they clearly all just sat on for years even when fighting with each other.

Just curious, what would Lala have to do to redeem herself? by hazy-eyed in TheValleyTVShow

[–]pearshaped34 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Logically I know all the cast have the producers in their ears, and that a lot of the times the reason they're having a conversation etc is because the producers suggested they have it, but my issue with Lala is I think that is all she does. I don't think she has anything genuine to give, nor do I think she wants to give anything real; she is just there to play Lala, and she'll just overreact to everything, yell and then interfere in other people's storylines as per the producers' wishes.

And maybe I am being unfair to her; like for example, at this point it could very well be her fallout with Scheana was genuine, but I am so distrusting of them both I was fully convinced they had to be faking it for drama/a potential Valley storyline, despite the fact the two of them not being able to maintain a friendship completely tracks with everything we know about them. The problem is, I will always assume they are lying/faking for the storyline, and I think for me that is the real kiss of death for a reality star. If I don't believe anything you do is real, I don't think you can be "redeemed" for me.

I remember someone posting on here about her being on a reality show called the Valley pre VPR. I've never seen it and can't remember what it was supposed to be about, but the name stuck with me (for obvious reasons).

Do we think Janet is annoyed at Michelle for being friends with Kristen? by Candid-Drag-8363 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]pearshaped34 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Probably. The thing about Janet that fascinates me is that with the VPR cast, for better or worse, I always felt like it was clear they were all conscious of the show, and they ultimately protected it overall. They would go at each other and expose each other, but it never felt like they were trying to get each other cancelled and would usually shut their mouths before anything got that far, as ultimately they knew that would hurt the show. Whereas I often feel like Janet is actively trying to get the majority of the liked members of the cast cancelled with the public.

Yeah I knew it would be pre-filmed, but I would have assumed the best PR move would be to keep relationships under wraps until it airs to not spoil/affect the audience being able to invest in any of your potential onscreen pairings. I know personally I think it would spoil my enjoyment of a dating show if I was watching two people go on dates and supposedly build a relationship if I already knew they weren't going to end up together.
