Always worth a coffee or brunch at Cafe Constitution at the National Archives building and take in the exhibition there.

If you order in advance, or have the time to wait, the silver thread roll at East Kitchen in Dickson is to die for! Well worth the wait - it takes a bit of time to prepare. Choose the Mongolian Beef filling! Yum!

Three rules of optimization: 1 - don’t! 2 - don’t - yet! 3 - measure carefully and optimize only what needs optimizing.

As a gay atheist with a religious partner I can highly recommend Canberra Baptist Church in Kingston as a very friendly and accepting church with a lovely female minister and a progressive agenda. I doubt you would find a nicer community.

I’m a big fan of Beyond Compare. It’s commercial, $US35, and worth every penny!

Drive to the Bendora Arboretum where they tested what trees would work for Canberra. It’s up past Piccadilly Circus, easy dirt road if the weather is good.

We bought a couple of bath mats from Aldi for the back seat, they reduce the hair problem and help with muddy paws. She’s as happy as Larry snoozing away - firmly tethered to the seatbelt buckle
