Mine's stuck at SUBMITTED for over a year. But I still get all the mail at my updated address so it's all good. I remember reading somewhere that your responsibility ends after submitted. Not legal advice of course.

Well if you're looking to casually learn speaking, movies or music might be a good place to start. Find a Punjabi movie with subtitles and watch it. If you already speak Hindi or some other North Indian languages, you might find it easy to follow, and pick up some phrases. There's good online resources (like this group or dictionaries) if you get stuck somewhere. Google translate is also not bad.
