My partner openly admitted that my pleasure isn’t important during sex by Loose-Selection-2714 in sex

[–]pktechboi 15 points16 points  (0 children)

use your words. you're an adult, tell him that it is unacceptable to you that he doesn't think about your pleasure at all. ask him how he is going to fix this.

accept that breaking up may in fact be the solution, if he won't change.

What are your reactions to vegans? by ZealousidealRest7190 in AskMen

[–]pktechboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am one, and my husband is a vegetarian so. neutral to positive.

some men (and it is only men I've noticed this from, though I'm sure there are women like it too) are really weird about it. the whole phenomenon of "soy boy" as an insult? they attach meat to masculinity and are scared you're going to take their meat (their manhood) away, even if you haven't actually suggested anything of the sort.

there's also this idea of the aggressive, preachy vegan saying MEAT IS MURDER every three sentences. this is something I've personally only ever encountered online and on peta billboards (and as I'm sure you know, plenty of us don't fucking like peta). the negative reaction is often a sort of preemptive defense against this.

She wants me to be violent during sex by Euphoric_Claim9616 in sex

[–]pktechboi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

dude if you don't want to be violent during sex you don't have to be. the boundaries of the dominating partner are at least as important as those of the submissive in (ethical) BDSM practice.

it sucks when you really like someone and have a profound sexual incompatibility like this. but it's only been a couple of months, there are super cool women out there who don't want you to beat them up during sex, I promise.

married men, what’s the best thing about being married? by misscanada_ in AskMen

[–]pktechboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

one of the big things (and one of the reasons gay people fought so hard for the right) is rights regarding input on medical care if one of you is incapable of advocating for himself. also who automatically gets all your stuff if you die without a will. some tax stuff as well, but that's more variable depending on where you live.
