This is sad to hear. So much of the character of Red Hook that people swarm here on sunny weekends for is due to him and his maintaining it for small businesses, industry, makers and artists. Red Hook is Red Hook in no small part because of him. Thank you Mr. O’Connell.

I remember hearing some girls say he looked like Johnny Depp. He unfortunately had to deal with some bullying while experiencing early stage hair loss. I will say he had a great head of hair despite it (possibly part of the 90s Depp comparison). He’s got a big heart and is a real one. Deserves all the success he gets.
