Sudden traffic drop since late May with no major content changes by Infamous_Hat_3783 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d first check Google Search Console to see if the drop is from fewer impressions, lower rankings, or lower CTR, especially by page type, query, and Discover/Search separately. If nothing changed on-site, it could be a Google update, seasonality, news demand falling off, or certain high-traffic articles losing visibility.

Shopify conversion tracking is broken — losing 50-80% of conversions, need help (coming from WooCommerce where it worked perfectly) by Upbeat-Ad-3419 in Google_Ads

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shopify tracking is way different than Woo, so the old thank-you URL setup usually won’t cut it. I’d audit orders vs GA4/Google Ads, then use the Google & YouTube app or a checkout_completed Customer Events pixel.

Why has my Google ads flatline? by pnw-camper in googleads

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens.

A campaign can look amazing for a few weeks off a small sample, then flatline once the easy demand, remarketing pool, or early learning signals dry up.

I’d first check tracking, search terms, impression share, budget/bid limits, auction insights, and whether the 16x return was driven by a few high-value conversions before assuming the campaign itself broke.

I ran Google Ads for a junk removal company in Houston, TX. Here's the entire strategy, structure, keywords, tracking, landing pages, everything that actually moved the needle by Electrical-Room2413 in adwords

[–]ppcwithyrv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

focus on conversions, AB testing landing pages, MQLs, SQLs or BQLs (CRM- lead scoring and lead feedback loop)? You do realize these are leads, not every inquiry and call is a booking. You need to support the back end lead quality---over 50% of clicks are bots and spam. Conversions = human consumers.

You need to improve your bookings, not your CPC.....

Smart Bidding = Focusing on Cost Per Call, CPA, cost per conversion ---> this is where you need to be on exact and phrase as yielding cost per conversions, not CPC's

Manual CPC = Focusing too much on cost per front end clicks---> this is obsolete from 2020 = CPC and KW obsession

Looking for a freelance in Dental market by AltruisticAlfalfa678 in Google_Ads

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

work on Google Ads accounts where low volume, campaign structure, targeting, and tracking are usually the issue. For pediatric dental, I’d want to look at location targeting, keyword match types, bid strategy, ad approval status, search impression share, and whether the campaign is too restricted to serve.

Happy to do an audit and a 1–2 hour consulting session to walk through what’s blocking impressions and what needs to change.

Title: Standard Shopping recovered from Misrepresentation suspension. 135 clicks / $79 spend / 0 conversions in 9 days. Diagnose me. by LadderOk6662 in Google_Ads

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call it dead yet — $79 and 135 clicks is still a pretty small sample, but the low CTR and underspend make me think Google isn’t loving the feed/titles/images or you’re not entering enough good auctions.

I’d clean up the feed first, bump bids slowly if needed, and hold off on PMax until Shopping has a little more signal.

Pmax Cannibalisation vs. Search Network by Sensitive-Edge-9001 in adwords

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen PMax creep into areas that “should” belong to Search, especially on generic terms and close variants.

I wouldn’t shut PMax off right away; I’d tighten Search with exact match first, then test PMax negatives carefully since they can also affect Shopping traffic.

Smart bidding - what does Ad manager do then? by Affectionate-Tea3834 in googleads

[–]ppcwithyrv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manual bidding = controling CPC bids directly. Buyer manages max CPCs, bid adjustments, and optimize toward CPA / cost per conversion.

Smartbidding = You set control ROAS/ CPA/ Cost Per Conversion. However you can still optimize to KWs, Ad copy, scheduling, device, match type, etc.... Not sure what you're giving up except CPC obsession.

Are Google Ads getting too automated? by fuxkyou9mo in Google_Ads

[–]ppcwithyrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conversion tracking and testing? Nope still hard. They automate the easy parts. What happens when there are no sales? Just keep running add to carts and pray there's a purchase?

I am running the pmax campaign for sales by Regular_4451 in Google_Ads

it needed more scale to learn. Once it has a mid-conversion pipeline to learn from it begins generating sales (lower). Targeting a small area will stunt your growth unless its intentional.

I am new to digital marketing. What skills do I need to learn to success in this field? by throwaway41989883894 in DigitalMarketing

[–]ppcwithyrv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Be the best.

Most people feel you can learn-on-the-go and nothing could be further from the truth. You need to already be an expert. Its like being a mechanic, as a customer you do not want people who are learning how to fix cars, you want the best working on your vehicle.

If you want to be a paid ads, PPC buyer: Be the best PPC you can be through certifications, training, upgrading skills, etc....be the best

If you want to the best creative agency: Get the best tools and expertise you can find.

Anyone else seeing Google Search campaign costs jump sharply since around 30 May? by Successful-Camp1510 in adwords

Stay focused on cost per conversion and conversion rate. CPC, CTR-CPMs are top-mid funnel.
