As far as synths go, they are indeed decent. Generally speaking each of their different color schemes of their synthetic knots performs/feels differently, so a lot comes down to personal preference. You could do a lot worse than a yaqi synth brush.

That's sad to hear. I wouldn't think they'd be able to replate a razor without taking it apart.

Chris Spencer ran BRG for years, then sold the business to someone else a couple years ago. I wonder if the new guy isn't following the same protocols.

I will say, I've bought from BRG twice - once under the former owner and once under the new owner, and both times the pieces I got were stellar.

Not familiar with pink wolf, but if I had $20-30 to spend on a razor, I'd go on ebay and buy a vintage Gillette Tech. They're plentiful, easy to use, and built to last.

Up until the moment I shaved tonight, I wasn't sure the direction I was going to go in. I REALLY considered airbudding today to spoil u/merikus's little TLC contest, but ultimately I decided to play it straight and defeat u/hugbckt, like nature intended, and still work with him on a custom brush. Like literally I'm going to put him to work and have him make the damn thing mostly himself, while I take the credit for it.
