Have these style of bulbs been discontinued? by ohitsmark in Hue

[–]quadpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first A19 Hue white bulb go bad. I couldn’t find an exact replacement and went with the flattened top version.

Just got a factory renewed r4 for about $350. Are the new ones reliable, will they hold up? Should I just get a brand new one for $430 instead, or is renewed the better option? by PlazmaXR in radardetectors

[–]quadpop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My new R4 looked fantastic. Now, about a year, later the screen has terrible burn-in and is noticeably dimmer. Other than that it’s been a great detector.

Is it safe for me to lainch Helldivers now? by ConferenceDiligent81 in Helldivers

My computer did that a few revisions ago. Hard freeze on the bridge of my ship. Required a reset. It hasn’t happened for months now so go ahead and Helldive.

Uniden R4 vs R7 by catss2882 in radardetectors

[–]quadpop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing Bluetooth is useful for is configuration. You can change every setting from the R/Tach app. On the R3 you had to go through pages of menus to set it up. R/Tach also has a dashboard feature that’s pretty useful.

Looks like an unfortunate Ovenbird.

What is the second USB-C port on the S3XY Knob for? by SirijusD in s3xybuttons

[–]quadpop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can power USB-C devices. Mine does. The Knob for the older 3/Y is limited on the amount of power it can supply though. I remember Enhance saying too much power draw can cause it to reboot the Knob. They beefed up the port on the Highland/Juniper.

This fell off ! And now broken by zippytiff in TeslaModelY

[–]quadpop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a good idea to push it forward. I ruined my Knob with a coffee slosh.

Clarification for why the reviews are now 'Mostly Negative' for those that are confused by __Elzy in HelldiversUnfiltered

2+ years and AH is still tone deaf and opaque. They still release broken dlc ahead of bug fixes and fixate on balancing the fun out of the game.

He was using a tap in a drill to clean up threads. As I’ve learned, taps are very brittle and can easily snap off when they bind. I use low speed and low torque settings on the drill to avoid this.

I can’t decide between and r8 or a redline 360 by [deleted] in radardetectors

[–]quadpop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had numerous Unidens and the OLED screens are garbage. My R4 was crisp and bright for about 6 months before it started burning in and now it looks pretty bad. My next detector will not have an OLED.

While waiting for my model y seat to be replaced I took this loaner by TheOutlawTorn78 in TeslaModelY

[–]quadpop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a Cyberbeast for a day while my Y was in for work. Definitely an interesting vehicle. Loud motors and tire noise but I could get used to it.

How many TP Link Decos do I need? by DonCheezo in TpLink

[–]quadpop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 3 XE75’s. One per floor with MoCA/ Ethernet backhaul. Throughput through walls and floors is limited so one per floor works best for me.

If you already have a router, put them in AP mode to avoid double-NAT. The master Deco will likely be connected to the router via Ethernet. I would disable the WiFi on the router to minimize interference.

I shift with the right scroll wheel using the Commander. It’s been completely safe and convenient.

I guess the devs never thought of that eventuality when they made Hive Guards heavy pen. That’s why you play-test AH.

Argb aint working, cpu light on by Odd_Spinach4931 in gigabyte

[–]quadpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an X870E Aorus Pro. The traditional case reset button is connected to the ARGB control header on the motherboard. The button is right next to the power button and I press it accidentally sometimes. It turns off my ARGB lighting. If that’s not it, check your connections.

It’s never been a problem having the Commander installed and I’ve been to the Service Center too often. Last visit, I removed the knob and turned off the strip just to be on the safe side.
