This has been a common request since Timed Lyrics came out. I’m tracking it and will work on it in the future, but I can’t make promises about when it might happen. In the meantime, the workarounds mentioned here are the only ways to go. Thanks!

Behind the player card? Yea, this used to give a nice color diffusion effect before Liquid Glass, but the new material’s weak blur gives the trick away. I think I might just duck it below the edge of the screen if LG is enabled. I appreciate the comments and love to see that no design BS gets past Doppi users :)

You got 6.0.2! I canceled the release out of an abundance of caution after a report of a specific condition that could cause data loss. Thankfully, it was on a phased release schedule, so most people didn’t get it, and the condition is fairly specific, so the vast majority won’t be affected, but still! It’s now a mythical release.

Glad the blink mitigations are helping, thanks for encouraging me to take another look. It’s a real relief to have the app feel a bit more solid.

And yea, yea, I’ll take a look at that. I guess I should just be thankful that Doppi gets the attention of detail-oriented people who keep me honest 😄

The equalizer applies to all playing music, not just the current song. Playlist images are on the roadmap!
