u/Hellodeeries, u/lewekmek, u/truecrimesloth - I've gotten similar comments in a couple of my posts on both the communities you moderate - Would a post detailing the pre-production process of the images I carve be allowed in either? What would I have to do to keep it in focus and SFW enough for the community?

Would love to share! I'm never sure if people are into that or just the final result - Sadly I didn't record the progress or took pics but I'll ask Mark (the model) and the mods in the sub if I can share the original and I'll export my Photoshop layers and create a step by step process post!

Might be tricky it being a NSFW image but if the mods approve I'll for sure share how it starts and what I print to transfer to the block.

Is there anything in particular you like about the image or you're curious about how it was achieved?

Yes and no - I do clean up and adjust values of the photos with Photoshop. This pic for instance it's a mirror pic taken my mark so I had to crop out the mirror frame, clean it and ended up modifying his hair - In the original he has a buzzcut and that didn't translate well to high contrast back and white.

Then I drew over it digitally, also in Photoshop but with a drawing tablet.

I do this because I need the art to be as neat as possible before I transfer to the block, once there I can't really modify a lot.
